You know, i din really understand that music realli will affect one chill-out mood, until fri. The bunch from osmosis went down to Ballymoon to chill and to hear the duo sing.

But instead, it was a diff duo and the singing was realli horrible. The singer talks more than she sings and her pitch was so high that at some point it became uncomfortable. We cringed at her songs and all mood was gone.

Not that we are choosy though, i actually saw the bartender and the servers cringed at her songs as well. Terrible. Its machiam like her mini concert and there were groups of followers as well. Imagine a group of 7-8 people and all they ordered was like 3 drinks??

Anyway the usual duo will perform on the first week of Sept so i guess we will give Ballymoon a miss next week and resume again when the duo is back.

Next time when we make our reservations, we will check who is singing first. And i quote by Ah Heng:

Us: Hi, can i check if Sxxxxx and Mxxx are performing tonite?
Ballymoon: Oh yes, they are.
Us: Ok and hang up.

Us: Hi, can i check if Sxxxxx and Mxxx are performing tonite?
Ballymoon: Oh, im sorry, they are not performing tonite.
Us: Ok, we are so there.

Ha Ha.

Went for an afternoon movie (Blood Brothers) with bin on Sat. Well the show was alrite but certainly not worth the trip to the cinema.

Proceeded to Shani Maharani (#03-21B, Raffles City Shopping Centre) for dinner. Had this craving for lamb for like 1-2 weeks already so Ah Heng intro this restaurant.

Been there once i think 2 years back when Kahong brought the whole bunch from office there for dinner. The place is realli very authentic from the teak-tables, Indian artefacts, food to the servers…

While waiting for them to start business

Ah Heng highly recommended these few dishes so we took it wholesale and ordered. We had the Tandoori Lamp Chops, Aloo Gobi (cauliflower with potato), Chicken Makhanwala and Naan (Garlic & Plain).

The Lamb Chops were really nice, tender and juicy but i had to cast my vote to the Chicken Makhanwala. The meat is soft and tender and the curry? Heavenly and it goes damn well with the Naan. As for the Aloo Gobi, well i dun usually like cauliflower but this dish, i basically wipe it clean.

The 2 of us were damn full 3/4 into the meal and could not even finish our Naan. Would give it a 4 stars anytime.

Happy after a full meal

  6. Hi Peggy,

i did it at salon #1 at bishan. its costs $150 then subsequent touch up is $30 but first 6 months touch up is free.

I have touched up for about 3 times, the first time the effect is very lasting but now after touching up it lasts for about 2-3 months before the color fades a bit but cos the shape is still there so all i do is use eyebrow color and enhance it further.

All in all, i feel it is very worth to do the embroidery.
