Im in love with this drama. Its been so long since i have this feeling……not even 爱情魔法师 can give me this kind of feelings. its like deja vu, i feel like im back to the good old poly daes where i watch jap drama like there is no tomorrow. Those were the daes where i would stay up all night to watch and skip morning classes the next day. Those were the daes where jap drama dominates the market before slow soapy korean drama came into the picture. Those were the daes where im crazy over J-Pop.
so my conclusion after watching both jap drama and korean drama:
“Jap drama is still the best. Enuff said.”

Halu (a Japanese homonym for Spring) is an up and coming star of a team in the small and unpromising Japanese hockey league. He is the captain of a hockey team called the Blue Scorpions. In the beginning of the series, Halu promises Anzai (his ex-coach)before he passes away that he will not get distracted by a relationship and will concentrate on hockey. This isnt difficult for him originally as he does not take relationships seriously.
One day, he meets Aki (a Japanese homonym for Fall) , who has been waiting for 2 years for her boyfriend to come back from New York. However, she has not seen or heard from him since then. Halu proposes a game between them, in which they will keep each other company since he doesn’t need distractions and she doesn’t need love, they decide that they’re perfect for each other
…and so begins a romance that isn’t supposed to happen.
Halu respects Aki’s devotion to her boyfriend and calls her a woman from traditional times. But as time passes and they grow closer together, is Aki really still waiting for her boyfriend, or is she subconsciously becoming the type of woman Halu wants her to be?
The drama is not only focused on their relationship, of course. It also shows how the team bonds and works out their differences together. The way they support each other is just very touching. You can see their passion and attitude towards the sports and how they worked hard for it.
Actually, it is more or less through the ups and downs of the team that Halu and Aki begin to understand each other better.
