We went for a sake-night for our very own AFA dinner just an excuse to go drink. I dun really fancy sake but Shawn and Aiko kept telling me that a GOOD sake will be nice so off we went!!!!

Food was so so but i have to say the sake was really nice….very smooth and sweet… i like but consuming 2x 1.8L of sake in 1 hour and 20 mins is plain crazy.

It reminds me of the time when the peeps from O booked the room at Changi Hotel and we consumed the whole bottle of Gin in like 20 mins. -_-

What can i say? I have alcoholic colleagues no matter where i go, hahaha

We celebrated bestie birthday yesterday @ Timbre. Managed to give her a surprise by asking Kel to join us as well. A pity ah min cannot join else i think bestie will be even more happy.

Anyway, food @ Timbre is still fantastic and the bitching sessions were good. I was really looking forward to the meet up to just grumble to the gers about my recent unhappiness…..glad they were there for me.

Well..we saboed bestie up to the stage (with others celebrating BD as well) to danced and to all our surprise, she was such a sport!!!! She was “no-ing” and all but once up there she did watever the band asked. We were ALL very surprised…. she realli changed alot over the years…if its her in the olden years, she sure wun b so sporting… good one there bestie!

Anyway, i do not have ample time to really plan for you birthday so bestie, i hope you still like the small celebration.

Its been a long while since I blogged……and I have back dated entries on my birthday celebrations.

The 2009 BTB gave me a surprise when we went KTBEE last Wednesday. But I somehow got to know beforehand so was kinda pre-amp about it…hahah lucky sia….else I sure feel very weird…..but I was very happy that they took the trouble to buy the cake and celebrate for me.

Then last Friday, went shopping with the bestie and it was supposed to be followed up by a dinner with Ping Mei but The ANG and Mr Oh turned up!! Bestie arranged them to come without me knowing. After dinner @ NYDC, we proceeded to Alleybar for some drinks b4 rushing to take last train back home hahahha. Wat an experience~

Oh yah, Bestie n Ping Mei bought a cap for me from STAGE. Well apparently there is a franchise store in SPORE and guess wat? The boss is Lee Teng. Ha ha he quite good looking in real life.

Then yesterday, which is my actual day, met up with the Alf, Shan & Jerry for dinner @ Sun with Moon Restaurant before having a round of drinks @ Indochine. Actually tot Matyoyo was there cos I saw him performing there on Fri but nope, he wasn’t there. But the other singer oso not bad lah. Better than the shrieky one in Ballymoon.

So theres dat…my 26th birthday….

Another update is I’ve started on my new job after a 1 week hiatus…..not enuff hahahah anyway work is still not coming in cos my PIC is not in town…

This is an eventful Sat…..had a very late lunch at Bedok Blk 85 before going to the Luxury Living Exhibition @ Expo with The Ang, Xiong & Xuan….. basically just wanted to go take a look at the different Interior Design companies. Talked to a few companies….not many were impressive….only liked 2 companies, where the designers were confident in their works and realli seems very sincere.

Well, will KIV them and maybe just send in my floor plan to get a quotation…for the fun of it…since my reno will not be taking place til next year. Looking very forward to it though~

After the exhibition, we proceeded to Siglap for some cheesecake. Highly recommended by Xuan….taste good! We went after dat and decided not to go for the movie that we initially planned on…..BUT after resting for a while, the mood came and we rushed down Sunplaza for it.

Well, im not really familiar with the 三国 stories so there is no issue of linking them to the real facts…the movie was so-so and i prefer the fighting scenes from 投名状. Of the 3 war-related movies by Andy Lau (墨攻，投名状，三国之见龙御甲) i like 墨攻 the best……

Anyway, there were only like 2 scenes i like in the movie….i think not really worth the money lah..can watcg DVD. But im now very interested in the 三国 stories…i only know the famous characters but not really the stories so i guess its worth to go learn more about the history now.

Went to Dennis new shop opening today with Jim and Ping-mei. Its a beer place near Clementi. Quite ulu, we initially had some difficulty finding the place but all was well in the end.

The beer selection at JUST BEER was pretty good and at very affordable prices, im sure the expats living around the area would be very happy.

Met up with the gang from MS9912 for a simple dinner….hahah our gathering getting lesser n lesser ppl….only strength of 6 today….anyway still good to come out once in a while. Dinner was at a kopitiam at Keong Siak Street and after that we adjourned to Ben & Jerry @ Dempsey for ice cream.

Saw Fea’s Prada Saffiano Calf Leather Coin Purse in white (she got good taste, the color is chio). Is nice de loh~ like it alot but no branded stuff for Ah Ly in the near future. I should be contented with my LV & Loewe coin purses hahah

After dat, i went to Timbre @ Substation to look for the peeps from O. Next Tue is Shan’s birthday and it is somewhat like an early celebration for the dude.

Anyway this is my virgin trip to Timbre loh. Its quite happening….i still very much prefer Ballymoon but if on days when Mat YoYo is not singing at Ballymoon, Timbre would be a nice alternative. I love live bands~ And the bassist today was good man…and he is quite cute too (some certain angles~)
