I took a cab to work in the morning yesterdae and guess how much was the fare??

I totally forget about the closure of road for F1 and still happily take cab. The jam wasnt at the usual CTE but i was stuck at the Havelock exit!!!! The bend at the Havelock exit took me 20 mins.

I was so pissed……. but my colleague was worse, she took a cab at Bugis, alighted at Boat Quay and the fare was $16.

Haha

Oh, realised my office can see F1 track wor. But the cars will be small, but better than nothing.

Accompany bestie to Julia to choose her actual day wedding and evening gowns. Did it within 3 hours. Bestie wear what oso nice de loh, cos figure is tall and slender, envy neh~

The gowns that she chosen were so beautiful, all damn got feel loh. hahah Julia really is Julia, gowns are all damn nice.

Oh why my title is “Damn It”? Cos we have fixed our date for our photoshoot already. It will be in end Feb, be choosing the photoshhot gowns in Jan, which means i have only 6 months to shed my fats!!!!

Its really very hard for me, i try to control my diet now and to try to exercise as much as i can but its not really effective. After work, i be shagged like dunno what and i just wan to sleep during weekends.

Cannot liao, i better increase my exercise volume. Im only like running once a week now. Should increase to 2 times liao.

Haiz, i foresee myself being a fat bride. Sobz~

Im having the worst sore throat i ever had…..but i really cant complain cos i realli deserve it.

Last week, i kept having this buzzing sound in my ear and people was telling me its heaty. So i drank lots of water but the “about to be sick” feeling is always there.

Throat was starting to get itchy but still went ahead to have KFC when we went to boss’s house to watch the Ping Pong Match between Lee Jia Wei and Guo Yue.

Then Sat, sis ordered mac and i had nuggets…..wats worse, anniversary dinner cum jx birthday dinner was at Shahi Maharani and its all spicy and curry….. -_-

Still got loh, its Big Aunt birthday celebration on Sun and we had chilli crabs…

So after all these delicacies, my throat is like sore til dunno wat…. and i really deserve it…. haiz

Ah Ly is a busy girl….seriously…i have been realli busy with work. When i reach the office in the morning, i’ll be working non stop til lunch and after lunch..same situation.

Not that i was alwaes slacking in my previous jobs but i do have wee bit of time to do my stuffs..(like update blog…forums surfing etc) now its like full force work…and usually only goes home after 7pm…

Well, at least i know i can handle that much of projects at one go. Last count, i had 10 different items on my to-do list. -_- and when i reach home, i have no energy to do anything liao.

Next week i have to go for a business trip to BKK. Dun really feel like going but no choice. And whats more tui is i have just booked my trip to BKK in OCT with The Ang and my sister.

I think now no family still ok to pia work but what happens if i have kids in the future? Still too early to think lah…..only 1 month here…still got 5 more months to go before both the company and me decide if its the right place for me.

Damn long nv go gym liao so i dragged my feet to the newly opened outlet at China Square Central….such a disappointment…the gym was soooo small!!!

Have this very compact feel which i dun like…but the toilets are new so its pretty good. I think i will not go there in the future. Since the outlet at Caltex house will be right opp my new office, i guess i will just go there in the future.

I cant believe i cant activate anyone for dinner yesterdae… The Ang oso known as KING now (cos my screen name is Queen, thus the name) is working night shift…so i checked with Pingmei and the bestie…..

Pingmei is going jogging and bestie got her company yoga thingy…..next i asked Jim and Caker….wanted to eat Ah Huat Mee Hoon Kuey but Jim no reply and Caker going back KL.

And i realised….not much fren leh me…. lucky there is alwaes Osmosis!!! I popped by O and chit chat while waiting for KH and Shan for dinner…hahahha

I think im old already….
I get tired easily….
Last time I can Ton til very late n go to school/work the next morning…..

When I was in O, I slept at 2am and wake up at 9am…
Now, i need to wake up at 730am
And I die die need to sleep before 12mn…

I promised to go gym 3 times this week…and i will do it!!!!

My Mac bootcamp has been giving me alot of problems and so Kahong suggested me to use mac altogether….so last week, i was busy backing up my stuffs and today finally my mac is ready for use. So i happily pluck in my hard disk wanting to transfer back all my stuffs when i realised all my bookmarks and rss feeds ALL gone!!!!!

I must have accidentally deleted when i was transferring my stuffs last week…..damn heart pain can!!!!!

UPSET~

Went to a trial facial at this place call Wellness Village. Tot that if price is reasonable, i may consider going there monthly since its near my company.

And my 1st impression is that the place looks comfortable enough. BAD Choice!!!!!

At first, there was this beautician who started accessing my face then after cleansing, another beautician came in and i was “given” to her. No instructions were given, no re-assessing of my face. Then the 1st assessment do for fun ah??

Nvm, then i told her i had eyeliner on my lower lid and she said she will do a “double cleanse” but no loh….at the end of the facial, the eye make up is still there!!! U tell me clean??? Then when cleansing she was damn rough, getting the foam onto my lips and into my nostrils…i was waiting for her to clean me up but nope, happily just ignore so i told her to do so.

When cleaning my face of foam, she realli just brush the cloth over my face!!! Without touching my face i could already feel teh residue STILL on my face and i had to tell her to clean it thoroughly TWICE!!!! And she still dare answer me “Oh you like it rough” DUH!!! i just want my face to be freaking clean!!!

The last straw….the 2 rooms were separated by a sliding door and both beauticians used the products from the same station meaning the sliding door was opened the whole time. And it doesnt help that the customer next door was yakking and yakking non stop….i was dozing off during the massage and was freaking woke up by the laughter!!!!!

After the facial. the consultant was asking me how was the facial so i just told her everything….i wasnt expecting her to apologize or wat but she just told me “then u fill in the form and write loh” and promtly requested my credit card for bill. I was contemplating not to pay for it loh but thinking i DID went through the facial so i paid for it.

NB!!! This is the worst facial i have ever been to……..

My daily exercise: 30 mins on the trimmer and 30 mins with the OTO Trimax….plus 2 sessions of gym a week, please please let me slim down…..i dun wan to be a bui bui bride.

On a Friday night, the bunch of us reached Ballymoon just slightly before 9pm….and we left around 1030pm. Why so early you might ask…..because the singing SUCKS!!!!

Last Friday Shirin sang at Ballymoon so by right today should be Man Toyan AKA Mat YoYo (i named him so~) but when we reached there i checked with the crew and they told us Mat Yoyo no longer sings there!!! Apparently he is now stationed at Hard Rocks instead.

Sad can~ The Shirin really sings very badly….her high notes are like damn noisy can!!! So after finishing our balance and a pint of beer, we decided to go.

I think either we got to find another hangout or to see if the new group that replaces Mat Yoyo is good anot. Note: we would not choose to go Hard Rock too cos the beverage there sucks….imagine they only serve Carlsbeg on tap…nothing else.

My guess is….maybe Timbre…..

I think this news happen some time ago and i just read it from Dasmond Koh blog today. Seriously i nearly cried after watching the clip….very disturbed.. really shame on them to do this to the old man…3 full grown up men in a trishaw then going on upslope? Worse still, ran off without paying.

Heard from someone a week back about his fren problem. His wife was comparing him with her fren’s husbands. From car, salary, to how big the rock was. And was so ugly with the words she used. I pity him.

Then it got me thinking, y do everyone like to compare?

Well if u ask me do I compare, hell I would be lying if I say no.

I go to gym and when I see the slim women running alongside me, I compare and I envy her body and I wish I was slimmer.

When I see a women with perfect skin, I compare and I envy and I wish I have skin like dat too.

When during frens/family outing, discussion on salary will always be one of the topic and when I hear younger peeps earning much more I compare and I envy and I wish my salary was higher.

But I think there are 2 types of comparing:

• Comparing=Jealous
• Comparing=Envy

And I think I definitely do not belong to the first. Yes, I envy but I guess some things are 可欲不可求, if I’m not meant to be a tall, slim, pretty, rich lass, I guess I should be contended being a fat, poor and maybe just being cute. Ha ha

As per my previous entry, i lodged a complaint to COMFORT regarding an unpleasant incident. They replied me.

Dear Ms Lim

I refer to your complaint lodged on 6 August 2007 regarding your unpleasant encounter with the driver of the above-mentioned taxi.

First of all, I would like to convey my sincerest apologies for the frustration you were put through in this incident.

In this case, the driver was given a warning for his poor attitude towards you and failing to ensure that he have sufficient small change with him. He was firmly reminded to improve on his service or risk losing his hiring agreement with the company. The complaint has been filed into his service record and we will monitor his performance closely.

Once again, we hope you can accept our humble apologies.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. We will continue to reinforce communication and training efforts to push up service levels by all our drivers.

I was telling the “Ang” about the reply and he was saying i should not have gone to the extent of complaining.

Sometimes i dun see eye to eye with him. To me, i believe that the good should be complimented and the bad should be punished. But to him, he thinks that i should not kick up a big fuss.

Well, i dun only make complaints ok. If i encounter good service i will make sure i send in emails to compliment the person in context.

After reading the reply (and after i simmer down), i do feel bad that if my complaint will risk the driver his hiring agreement but if certain warning can improves the service, i see the need in it.
