I had a very power-packed weekend. Brought my parents and sis to cruise on Friday together with The ANG and my parents in law. It was my parents 1st time on board and i’m glad they enjoyed themselves.

I had fun too!!! I won $200 at the casino, went swimming, steaming, jacuzzi-ing with yvn AND i ate non stop.

And as expected, i gain back 1kg…..WTF!!!!

Then right after we reached Singapore, rushed home to change and proceeded to Chris & Esther House Warming. The gathering has slowly evolved into having more and more kids…..hahaha i guess in a couple of years time, the number of kids vs the number of adults will be the same.

After the house warming, still got to rush to sis in law house for little dennis 3 year old birthday celebration. She is such a cutie, i do hope if i give birth in the future the kid will be as smart n cute like her.

Packed isnt it my weekend….hahahah

I have been keeping to my new year resolution of no dinner after 8pm and reduce the carbo intake. Apparently, i think it works!!!!

I was weighing myself on the scale and i saw the needle stopped 2 marks aways from my usual weight (im not gonna announce how heavy im u fools)

I was surprised!!! I even suspected that the weighing scale was faulty so i got my sister n mummy to weigh themselves as well and their weight is still the same as they previously weighed.

So ah ly is hereby 2 kg lighter!!!!

Woo Hoo~ I think the acupuncture does help as in my appetite is clearly smaller. I eat lesser now and i try my best to take the minimum amount of carbo.

I still do eat normally, just that my 1 plate of chicken breast rice i will only eat half of the rice and if the place i go to serve salad, i will eat salad.

But 1 sad thing is that the weight loss doesn’t equal to look slimmer. I feel that my thighs are still big, my tummy is still bloated and my arms are still humongous.

I dun think i will be ready in time next month for the photoshoot but if i maintain like this + realli try to squeeze in some exercise, hopefully in Oct i can be a slim bride.

This is yet another simple Christmas year. Had a simple dinner with the family before a movie (Yes Man) at the neighborhood cinema.

Hard as it seems, i come from a strict family and when i was younger, i seldom go out. So festive periods like Christmas and New Year were a big thing for me. Its a reason for me to go out and hang out til late so i would die die find places to go. But as i grew up, these are basically just like any day. Only difference is that i get to have a day off from work.

No squeezing with the crowd, no more unable to get a cab.

But on the contrary, i AM looking forward to the festive periods next year as i will be having my own place and i hope to have some cosy gatherings with the closed ones.

Last but not the least, Merry Christmas~~~

Finally completed the book. This is not as 催泪 as the rest of 九把刀 books but still as touching. His books nv fails to touch me makes me cry.

But i have to say initially the story was kinda draggy but as it progress, i saw the meaning and the crux to the story.

How many times have you thought back, “Is the current me the one that i hope to be when i was young?”, “Did i fulfill my dream??”, “Have i faced the future bravely?”

It will be glad to know that you would have stick to your dreams and pursue but if you have chosen another route, does that means that you have given up on yourself?? Or you are just embarking on another journey into another dream??

The year is coming to an end and i wonder, what have i achieve in 2008?? No i’m not concluding my year now thank you very much…there is still 2 more weeks left but well…

Everything that happen makes the current me and i strongly believes everything happens for a reason so im pretty happy with myself, other than the fact that i have been putting on weight despite trying to cut down.

Was pretty emo after reading the book and was even contemplating to follow the lead and write down a wish/target for myself and i shall look back at myself 10 years later. But ah ly being ah ly, after 1 night of sleep, i turned back into the skeptical person and proceeded into the next book. -_-

The AFA Team from Dentsu, Good Job everyone!!

I have been neglecting my blog….was so busy with the event that i really have no time. I almost nv see my parents for 2 entire weeks and THE ANG is complaining about how work has affected us hahhha.

I was sorta thinking is it all worth it…..lack of sleep, no time for families and friends…..missing out on gatherings….but when i see the event successfully completed (of cos hiccups will happen, but we all managed to get it done), it sorta feel all worth it.

AFA is the 1st ever event that i have organized. In fact, i only participated for a couple of months, but the feeling of satisfaction still very great.

And i met 2 fantastic Japanese Artists, Ichirou Mizuki and May’n. Ichirou Mizuki is great, although i have nv heard his songs before but his high energy attitude really is very contagious. And he is a very friendly man.

As for May’n i was really impressed with her vocals….very powerful…better than CD in fact and she is really a cute little ger….very humble

All in all, i’m glad the event is finished, got to buck up and settle my outstanding projects…. I hope it wun be days of OT again… photos to be posted up again.

Another 1 more month before my contract ends at Dentsu. Although verbal confirmation has been given to convert to FT but i think i need to seriously discuss the package details….dun blur blur like initially nv even what the position is and join hahahah.

A couple of options in front of me, i got to seriously think carefully of what i want.

Went for a jog with bestie earlier…..around our neighbourhood for 30 mins. Bestie damn sut can~ 30 mins non stop, 不愧是can complete 10km de liao. Unlike me, 30 mins i got to pause hahaha

Thanks to bestie and ping mei who will constantly motivate n encourage me to run.

I promise i will continue to jog….hopefully to shed the fats in turn for bestie wedding in dec.

I had an eventful and happy weekend.

On Sat, i joined bestie, ping-mei and Daryl for a morning jog at Macritchie Reservoir. It was so hard to jog on uneven surface loh. I think im too used to jogging on treadmil….my breathing, steps everything were like wrong loh.

I have alwaes breathe in through my mouth and out from my mouth also but apparently accordingly to the girls it should be in from nose and out from mouth.

And my running steps were too fast!!!! Ha ha i think cos on treadmil the pace is fixed and i go pretty fast so i dunno how to slow down when jogging on road loh….

Thanks to the gers, and daryl…they were so sweet, will motivate me and push me to go further. Thanks pals!!! We need more sessions like this….hee hee

Then on Sun, attended YYH and Shiling (not 40, hahah) wedding. So happy to see a dear fren getting hitched. And YYH was so smart loh, wearing his army officer uniform. It was my first wedding attended with swordbearers can.

NBSS rocks!!!!

Met up with the 2009 BTB for a casual dinner on Fri. Nothing special, just a catch up dinner and drinks session.

Since Fea is also getting married in 2009, i invited her along too. Hope she like the new friends.

Sat went helping Ping-mei, she is stepping out to do her own small biz. So we as her good friends must definitely help!!!! Nv really did anything lah, just help her set up and sell. Initially i was still worried that i wasn’t able to help much but i was so wrong hahaha.

I think all 3 of us (bestie, me & ping) really know how to do sales especially to aunties. hahah it was an interesting experience and if ping still need my help, i will offer my little help to her.

Took our parents for movies on Saturday. In fact, for all Jack Neo shows, we will bring them to cinema to watch cos they like it. But this time round, on top of the usual laughter, there is sadness as well. Especially the part on how the kids treat their mother.

Its like Deja-vu to my parents…as that was what happened to my grandmother. Well i can be very sure my family, as in the 3 of us will never ever treat our parents like this. Although we are not those that will openly show our affection to parents, we really do love them..ALOT.

Anyway, it is a nice show and mummy still say its the best of all the Jack Neo movies she seen.

Quite an eventful sunday….went Burmese Temple to pray in the morning before meeting Alfred to go attend Preston’s gal gal baby shower…sorta like a mini O gathering cos all the people are there, ex and current. Haha

After lunch and catching up, i acc bestie to our Bridal Shop to select her photoshoot photos. They are nice de loh~ Ah Liang took more than 300 photos and we took a total of 5 hours to filter n more filter until a reasonable number that bestie was happy with.

And i cant wait for my turn can~ Susan told me i need to select my PS gowns in Jan and my PS will take place in March…. Excited!!!!!

Lastly, got to congratulate the Table Tennis girls in getting Silver. It was a tough match against China. They really very sut can. Silver is as good as gold to us already i feel.

Although i always say that its all foreign talents but when i see our Singapore flag in the ceremony, i felt so touched and proud….never knew i was so patriotic. hahahah Good Job!!!!

Its our 5 years paktor anniversary next Friday, half a decade…. not very long but definitely not short. Anyway, no big plans though. Just planning a dinner to Shahi Maharani. In fact because its Bestie’s HB birthday next Sunday, we tot of just meeting up together for a dinner there. ha ha.

No longer thinking about big plans for anniversary, birthdays etc. I guess got to do with age lah. Old liao, just wan a simple dinner.

Anyway, Novotel got a wedding show this weekend. Was thinking to go since they can waived off the charges for UOB cardholders but THE ANG will be working. -_-

Although i booked my wedding there liao but still can go mah….Sikali go can win prizes leh…. and still can eat…hahaha

Still got 14 months before my wedding….still a long way to go….more looking forward to my Photoshoot and Renovations hee hee.

This is a damn random post…i got like lots to blog but bits n pieces in my mind. Im back from the Land of Smiles and i have to say, its quite an experience.

The training itself is pretty beneficial and i made quite a lot of frens (Ppl from Malaysia, Philippines, India, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong). There are 2 more sessions in Nov and March next year. Hope to see them again. Hahaa imagine all of us (some are senior management ppl, VP, Acc Manager/Directors) all partying and dancing til like 6am in the morning. -_-

Nv realli take any photos, was pretty occupied but i still managed to get like half an afternoon to do shopping. Cheong Platinium Mall and Siam Square and got a couple of tops. Looking forward to my OCT holiday trip!!!

Like wat pingmei say, its good to see all of us still keeping close contact after so many years….like damn…i knew her since i was 7 years old!!! Freaking 19 years!!!!! We can have a 20 year celebration next year.

Oh Oh, after reading Miko’s and Jac’s blog, im like oso knoding my head can!!!! Im really growing horizontally…..totally lack of exercise…..my target weight is 42kg (which i dun is achievable now) n last i weight i weigh like 48kg..i have a small frame luckily but the fats are all going to the wrong places…..my arms are huge and thighs thunderous….

How to be a pretty bride u tell me? N gym is a waste of time cos i dun even have time to go!!!! Work is pretty draining and i just wan to slack at home if i have time….. im doomed but i seriously need to get my ass off the couch n start working out.

Last Sunday was a happy day cos Man U won the cup!!!!!!! Glory Glory Man United~~~~I was so excited…..and Wigan put up a great fight…..And yes, Man U did it again~ It was especially meaningful to see Ryan Giggs scored… I have alwaes respected him… a one-club man through and through and last sunday was the 758th match for him…matching Bobby Charlton i think..

Kinda sad Gary Neville did not managed to participate much in this season but the guys were so cool to ask him celebrate with the cup and all…

I hope Man U wins in the Champions League against Chelsea but the game is held in Moscow and i worry for the safety of the players hahahah….sikali they all each have a infra red dot on their forehead aimed by snippers hired by Roman….wahahahah

Watched the movie 死神的秘密 on sat……the only purpose why i want to watch this movie is cos of Takeshi Kaneshiro wahhha he is handsome can~ but the show seriously is very slow n monotonous…..we even see ppl walked out of the cinemas halfway through. But the ending is kinda nice….i din expect dat…..

work has been busy….i cant say dat i love it now and im still trying to adapt….
