I dun usually listen to Korean songs or watch Korean drama and the only Korean groups that i know of are Super Junior and Wonder Girls hahaha

Super Junior got a lot of boys loh….but i only find Lee Donghae and Leeteu good looking…then not long ago, heard their chinese song…yup you heard me, chinese. They formed a group to target the chinese market….call Super Junior M. Smart company.

Anyway, saw them in some variety show and oh my oh my….Lee Donghae is like super cute can…. i might just go and find their album and check out their songs.

Caught the preview show of The Broadway Beng: Jiak Liu Lian with xiao teow yesterdae at the Liu Lian. The show is kan si lang eh funny loh. Sebastian Tan really is very good. He sings damn well in Hokkien. My favorite parts would be “Nan Qiao High”, him singing the OST of “爱” and “家后” and his damn catchy oh oh oh oh “super junior” song.

This is better than last year. Last year there was this part where i almost fell asleep but this year, hilarious all the way. The 8 Chio Bus oso super funny lah….

I’m sure The ANG will like it cos Ah Beng vs Ah Beng mah….but he dunwan to go…lucky i still have my watch-broadwaybeng-kaki who will soon be my study-japanese-language-kaki Xiao Teow!!! hahaha

Anyway, i want to recommend this facial place. Royal Secrets. My package at Bugis finished and bestie has been with Royal Secrets for a while so me and Ping-mei went to check it out and yes, we signed up for the package.

I like it cos, well for one, bestie has been with them so long for a reason so i trust her taste and well. Secondly, i like applying smokey eye shadow and i have been to a couple of places that always cannot remove the make up thoroughly. Royal Secrets is very detailed in make up removing and i like it that they always pay attention to make sure my eyes are thoroughly cleansed.

And their extractions are bearable!!! This is very important k cos my pain threshold is very de low….

Hope skin will get better with more frequent visits.

I was randomly reading online when i come across a topic saying there is actually 13 horoscope now instead of the usual 12 that we know of.

I googled about it and the results showed that there is a 13th constellation call the Ophiuchus (serpent bearer). The sun apparently crossed this constellation path between the November 30th and December 18th. Astrologically speaking, if you were born between those dates you’re no longer a Sagittarian, you’re an Ophiuchi!

WTF, i read on further and i realized im no longer a Taurus but an Aries!! I dunwan to be an Aries. I have been a Taurus all my life and i do feel that i have traits of a Taurus, have no intention to be changed thank you very much.

Based on the study, modern astrology has changed. Now the path where dunno wat sun axis and earth axis has changed and now the sun path cuts across 13 stars instead of 12.

Anyway, i will still continue to see myself as a Taurus.

SINGAPORE – Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports has launched a Leo Burnett created push to encourage more Singaporeans to get married.

The TVC, which will be aired on the national network from 5 to 16 April, is produced and directed by award-winning director Yasmin Ahmad and titled Funeral.

The insight that MCYS received was that many Singaporeans are waiting to find the perfect partner before getting hitched and the TVC seeks to highlight how imperfections are what make a partner perfect.

The creative strategy involved using a recently widowed wife talking about her husband’s imperfections at his funeral and how his flaws made him perfect for her. She concludes by saying that she would also like her children to have “beautifully imperfect” partners like she their father.

Richard Tan, director of communications at MCYS pointed out that TVC has many firsts attached to it including being one of first government TVC to be shot in a funeral setting and also being one of the first to promote “imperfection”.

Last year MCYS had launched another campaign directed by Yasmin Ahmad to promote the importance of family. The “Family” TVC has been well received by online community and recently won Mediacorp’s Viewers’ Choice 2008 awards in the local TVC category.

I started on my Acupuncture again. Yes this is the 2 time i am trying acupuncture for slimming purpose.

1st time i did it, it was like 3 years ago. It was effective, i managed to shed some fats but i only went for 4 sessions. This time round i signed up for 10 sessions and im determined to get slim!!!

No, im not just relying on this, i got go exercise and i strictly dun eat after 8pm. Please let me get slim, i need to try to shed some fats off the arms in 2 months in time for my photoshoot…..

I promise to be good, let me slim down.

Procedures:
Firstly, i went for a consultation at TCM. Sinseh asked about my eating/sleeping/AV habits and behaviors then checked my blood pressure and prescribed some meds for my intestines as she said i have toxic in my body.

1st session:
It started with the 推脂, the therapist applied the slimming cream on my tummy, arms and thighs and started to bo kek key and massage me. Well i shouldn’t use massage, it was an understatement. She in fact was like doughing me, no kidding. I was trying so hard not to scream.

After which, she wrapped me up in cling wrap and then a machine wrap where i was bloated and released. It was kinda shiok for at this stage.

After 20 mins of bloating and releasing, it was time for the needles. The sinseh came and told me not to expect 100% painless. A good skilled sinseh will not do a painless acupuncture session. I was told to expect 痛，酸，麻．

Well, i have to say, it was bearable. So 1st session was over in 1 1/2 hour. Looking forward to the next session next week.

I want to be a slim bride!!!!

One of the guest invited to AFA08 is May’N. She is the singer for the anime Macross Frontier and to know more about her songs, i had to watch the anime.

Macross Frontier is the story of a space colony fleet trying to find a habitable planet near the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. The story focuses on three young adults and the events that occur around them as the fleet faces a crisis of alien origin.

Due to the boss & Jim alwaes playing her songs in the office or car, i was pretty familiar with the songs already but watching the anime with the songs tied closely to the story is really different. And it makes me appreciate the anime more. Nice show~

And after Macross Frontier, they recommended me another anime which i realli~~~ like. Tora Dora!!!
I realli like teh TIGA character and i saw figurine of her which i so wanna get my hands on.

Toradora!’s story begins with the male protagonist Ryūji Takasu who is frustrated at trying to look his best as he enters his second year of high school. Despite his gentle personality, his eyes make him look like an intimidating delinquent so he is utterly hopeless about his chances of getting a girlfriend anytime soon, and does not have many close friends either.

Ryūji goes to school and is happy to find that he gets to be in the same class as his best friend Yūsaku Kitamura and crush Minori Kushieda. However, it is then that he unexpectedly knocks into “the school’s most dangerous animal of the highest risk level”—Taiga Aisaka—who just happens to also be in his class, and is a good friend of Minori.

Taiga has a negative attitude towards others and will not hesitate to snap at people. After meeting Ryūji, she takes an instant dislike of him. Taiga comes from a rich family, though she moved out to live on her own due to family issues, and by coincidence is now living in an apartment next door to Ryūji. After Ryūji discovers that Taiga has a crush on Yūsaku, and Taiga finds out about Ryūji’s affections towards Minori, Ryūji suggests that they cooperate so they can win the object of their affections.

Ryūji says he will do anything to get closer to Minori, which Taiga exploits, making Ryūji her personal servant, and getting him to do household chores like cooking and cleaning for her. Taiga spends a lot of her time over at his house, so much so that she could almost be considered a member of his family. Since Ryūji spends a lot of time with Taiga, he is opened up to her world and to a side of her that most people do not see. The two also attempt to help each other in order to improve how people view them. Unknown to them, however, people they know from school start to become curious about their strange relationship together and rumors begin to spread about them.

For the first time ever in South East Asia, Singapore will celebrate the diversity of Japanese Pop Culture.

Taking place on the 22nd and 23rd of November 2008 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Center, Anime Festival Asia 2008 (AFA08) will showcase a wide array of Japanese Pop Culture related content, spanning over 5,000 sqm of space with 6 experience zones: Akiba Town, Anime Live, Anime Blockbusters, Industry, Mangaka and Planet Mech, where visitors will gain access to exclusive content, merchandise and live acts straight from Japan.

The festival targets children, youth, adults and industry visitors both locally and from around the region – with an expected turnout in excess of 80,000 visitors.

Anime Festival Asia 2008 (AFA08) is organized by I-Promo Events & Marketing in partnership with Dentsu Singapore. AFA08 is sponsored by Bandai, Japan’s leading toy manufacturer, with Animax as the official regional media partner.

The festival, made possible with support from the Embassy of Japan and the Japan Foundation, will be attended by directors, producers, manga artists and creative individuals from Japan’s entertainment industries.

Because of my single, droopy small eyes, i had to wear the black smokey eye makeup (it really will make the eyes seems bigger) but oso it is a bit hard to remove, so a good eye makeup remover is very important.

Previous i think i was using the brand loreal, not too bad but have to clean a few times then its thoroughly clean. After finishing the bottle, my sister (we share the remover) bought this Neutrogen Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover.

I have to say its the best i ever used. Just use a cotton pad, 1 dip, press to the eye for 5 secs, rub off and ALL traces of eye makeup is removed, including waterproof mascara!!!!

I just have to rave about it hahah and becos of the eye makeup remover, i went to buy the trial size face makeup remover to try. No too bad as well. Cheap and good.

最近在追《超级星光大道2》，里头有个歌手叫巴冷公主。很好奇为什么她叫巴冷公主所以就googled了一下。原来她是原著民，曾经参加过一个巴冷公主决选。

那什么是巴冷公主呢？所以又googled了一下。原来是个凄美的爱情传说。

巴冷是魯凱族「阿巴柳斯」家族的公主，臉兒圓圓像月亮，歌聲十分的婉轉，連飛舞的蝴蝶都會停下來聽。巴冷的雙手很靈巧，織布的時候，老祖母總是讚美她的手巧，個性活潑、聰明、善良，對感情秉持著純真與執著的態度。巴冷常常在夕陽斜照的時候，看著山上收工回家的婦女，頭上頂著竹籃，唱著歌走回家，巴冷學著他們的歌聲，讓回音充滿雲霧朦朧的山谷中。

巴冷公主打扮得像天仙一樣美麗，他的姊妹和兒時的玩伴，都來為她送嫁。她的親姊姊為她洗足，她的親妹妹為她插上百合花，母親為她掛上家傳的琉璃珠，父親高聲唱頌，叮嚀巴冷公主：「記著，我們全族自古正直、誠懇，你不要辱沒了我們的祖訓」父親將巴冷的手交給蛇郎。黃昏時刻，夜幕逐漸籠罩大地，送嫁的隊伍舉著熊熊的火把，巴冷家族護送巴冷來到深山的鬼湖邊，巴冷公主回頭對著家人說：「親愛的爸爸、媽媽，我會守護這個地方，你們來這兒狩獵，一定會有獵物，但是，如果獵物是冰冷的，請不要帶回去。」說完以後，巴冷隨著蛇郎走入湖中，幾天以後，湖邊的岸上長滿了百合花。一直到今天，魯凱族人，尤其是女人，都喜歡在頭飾上，插上一朵百合花，紀念她們心中永遠難忘的巴冷公主。
