I did what alot of people have always been doing. Marketing. Not marketing-marketing but the kind where you knock off work and scoot into the supermarket to do marketing.

Im not really the housey type but im trying to learn cooking….DUN luff!!!!
I went to supermarket after work today buying the ingredients for the meal for Sat as well as the steamboat.

Ha Ha very fun loh, well i usually go to supermarket, get what i want and go. Now i’m trying to like look at the ingredients and go like “will i be able to cook this?? that??” im a noob in cooking so i really am worried.

Anyway, i was initially contemplating to cook a full meal on Sat but after careful thoughts i think better to start easy….so i changed it to cooking a pot of soup but looking at that its just 2 more days and i still have no idea what soup to cook, i finally decided that the 1st meal in the house on Sat will just be BREAKFAST~

Ha Ha, small steps people, small steps….frying ham, hotdogs, eggs, baked beans should be my 1st dish. *Nod Nod*

Alright, and i bought some materials for Sat’s night steamboat as well. The meat and seafood gotta wait til Sat then buy….hmm maybe a trip to the wet market sounds more housewifey??

Today was the reunion dinner with the peeps from O, we went to this Lai Wah Restaurant at Bendemeer Road. Apparently this is the restaurant that invented “Loh Hei” since 1945.

“Loh Hei” was indeed nice, but the food is only “mah mah de” but as the saying goes, its the company that matters. Very long nv meet up with the peeps from O so it was very entertaining with all the jokes and magic tricks.

“hai hmm hai li gor” hahahah.

Missed out the vege and stewed chicken photo, probably busy eating. hahaha

Anyway, i went shopping before meeting the guys. There were sales EVERYWHERE….realli is EVERYWHERE loh……M)phosis was having up to 70% sale and 不啰嗦 i went in and bought myself 2 pairs of flats…..happy ger….cost only $29.95 for 2 pairs. There were more i wanted to buy but controlled myself cannot spend so much.

Also, went to Anna Nucci to buy my heel for my wedding photoshoot/day.

Met up with the FP babes on Thursday evening for dinner and some catching up. It has been almost a year since i saw most of them, like Jac, Miko and Elaine. Karen and Mag i still got meet them up occasionally for dinners.

When we meet up it will always be a session of updating each other then we will start gossiping and bitching….it is so stress relieving i tell you hahah.

Last time we are like so free….forum surfing and chatting in chatzy all day long but now, everyone are busy with work. Hard to meet up as often le so realli got to give credits to Miko for organizing the dinner. *SMUCKS*

I guess thats life ya, getting busier n busier as one ages……Iwas just having this conversation with a fellow colleague on why is that during schooling times, we were not working and yet we can spend $$ and not feel as stress but as we grow older and earn more money, we find ourselves getting poorer and poorer…

Was rushing like mad and i think i managed to reach Yishun Safra a little slightly before 9pm. The group has already finished their dinner, hahaha so I quickly ate the food they kept aside for me.

YYH gave us his wedding invites, 2 more weeks to go. So happy for him.

Was so stoned, kept thinking about work, seriously need to destress so i suggested MJ~

Ha ha really very long nv pa MJ liao, when we reached bestie place, even unker n auntie oso say we very long nv go up.

Well, only managed to play 1 pok cos everyone was either tired or needed to work the next day.

I won $20 but was a bit dui cos i was doing 13 yao and was waiting for the last 2 cards only for 1 of the match. I always love to do 13 yao and has only managed to successfully completed once.

Yesterdae was my mother in law birthday and my sister in law gave us all a treat @ Majestic Hotel. It was fine dining and the bill came up to almost 1k!

Ha Ha the food was quite alright but i prefer seafood anytime~

My mummy and Mil birthdays are only 2 days apart. Last Sat we celebrated with her and yesterday with my mil….come 20th will celebrate my papa’s birthday as well… April is a month of eating and more eating.

After a very delicious and expensive lunch, Ms Ly proceeded to meet the gers from NBSS for dinner at Bottle Tree back north. The gers all either have full lunch or had fruits beforehand so our dinner was quite light.

Chatted for a while before adjourning to bestie house for some mahjong session…hahah been a while since i last exercise my hands kekek but still lose $$….

Met the bestie n Oh 先生 for dinner yesterdae at Marina Square HK Cafe. Actually the bestie was there to get a birthday gift for her colleague and after dinner it was almost closing time for all the shops so we were like rushing to get the gift. Damn hilarious. Anyway, she managed to get the gift at the very last min.

Well the 3 of us were like damn hungry loh so we ordered alot and as expected, we couldn’t finish even with Oh 先生 around. -_-
