We are planning a short trip after our wedding in Oct. Not the honeymoon yet but just a short trip.
Well actually we have decided to go to USA for our honeymoon. Should be going LA, Las Vegas, San Diego but because i have been KBKB that i wanna go Taiwan first so The ANG said if we still have some spare cash after the wedding, we will head for Taiwan first before going to USA next year. (I shall pray that i receive big big ang baos, hahah)
Anyway, Kahong sent me a mail once for a 民宿 in 墾丁 call 國境之南, it is super beautiful can!!! Even the name is beautiful. But if i were to go in Nov, like sala season leh not summer…….hmmm but realli very chio can~
Finally found the time to catch the movie with The ANG. I actually cannot really remember the story from the previous parts and although there were lots of reviews saying the last installment sucks but i personally like the movie.
I think the plot was pretty decent and Vin Diesel is simply soo sexy, i love his voice. The ANG even said he wanted to go cut skinhead!! hahah but but……hahahah
Anyway, i kinda like the character “Han” from Tokyo Drift. I tot he will appear more in part 4 but no leh…..anyhoo i think probably there will be a part 5. Maybe will start from the part where DOM race with Sean from Tokyo Drift.
Went for a perm last sat, this will be my 4th perm and the 3rd one done by Erwin. After thinking and thinking, bestie oso decided to go for a perm.
I wasnt very worried about the outcome cos this isnt the 1st time already mah. In fact, i wanted a much tighter perm and permed higher. I think higher is got lah but tighter….still same leh…hahah
Anyway, hair is longer now, so permed hair looks better oso. After the wedding in Oct, i will cut it off.
Bestie on the other hand was super worried. Well she wanted a more wavy perm than a perm perm, so looking at her carefully briefed Erwin, super cute can hahahah
The results turn out very well for bestie but the curls were kinda too loose so she probably need to go back and touch up.
SINGAPORE – Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports has launched a Leo Burnett created push to encourage more Singaporeans to get married.
The TVC, which will be aired on the national network from 5 to 16 April, is produced and directed by award-winning director Yasmin Ahmad and titled Funeral.
The insight that MCYS received was that many Singaporeans are waiting to find the perfect partner before getting hitched and the TVC seeks to highlight how imperfections are what make a partner perfect.
The creative strategy involved using a recently widowed wife talking about her husband’s imperfections at his funeral and how his flaws made him perfect for her. She concludes by saying that she would also like her children to have “beautifully imperfect” partners like she their father.
Richard Tan, director of communications at MCYS pointed out that TVC has many firsts attached to it including being one of first government TVC to be shot in a funeral setting and also being one of the first to promote “imperfection”.
Last year MCYS had launched another campaign directed by Yasmin Ahmad to promote the importance of family. The “Family” TVC has been well received by online community and recently won Mediacorp’s Viewers’ Choice 2008 awards in the local TVC category.
Earlier this week, a couple of my frens were talking about this player from Manchester United – Lampard look-alike, and his equalizing goal against aston villa.
And just days after, he did it again. In the match against Sunderland, he was substitute into the match and within 46 seconds, he scored.
Although the goal was a bit “ko” but well, a goal is a goal and because he is so damn yandao, i call him the hero. hahaha
I guess Ronaldo 地位 will be threatened hahah cos Macheda is so good-looking. Yes a bit like lampard but MUCH taller hahah.
Out of the 3 movies that was on our list to watch, (Shinjuku Incident, Fast & Furious 4 & Knowing) we choose Knowing. Actually i wanted to watch F&F4 but both shows at 11.10pm and 12.00am were sold out. I hate Jacky Chan so option left is Knowing.
The story was still very interesting at first, with the suspense and the premonition but the last 20 mins was very very disappointing…
Think along the line of “end-of-the-world”, “Angels”, “Adam & Eve”…..if these still doesnt put you off, please by all means to watch the show.
I seriously think the ending sucks….it wasnt a love story, no proper explanation why the kids can hear the whispering, where the “whisperers” brought the kids to, why the hell the ending looks like putting Adam and Eve to the Knowledge tree….There is even things that you could explain or relate to Noah Ark or the 玉兔 from 常儿. –> ok maybe i have too good an imagination but well….i can only say…..save the $$ and watch DVD.
I have no patience with kids…i think thats a known fact….
I like playing with kids….for maybe 20 mins?? Actually I fear of having kids….because i think im still a kid myself….and i seriously find kids noisy…..and grumpy….and noisy…..
Whenever i see kids, i will go “ooo….so cute….call jhey jhey….ooo……” and i walked off…..i can nv be like bestie who can play with kids for long time…. my attention span is probably…..20 mins? Ok probably 1 hr for my precious nieces.
Anyway, alot of friends told me next time when i have kids i will be different and think differently….haha i seriously hope that will be the case because im so not the case now….
I was even thinking of not having babies….until i see my nieces Dennis and Anthea…..they are so cute and when i see how loving they are, it realli makes me understand that the family will only be complete with kids….and 1 kid is too lonely….2 is really the best size.
No, am not planning for babies now, just took a couple of photos of Anthea today and i realised that looking at the sisters, i do want kids of my own next time….and i will TRY to be a good mother….hahahah
