Im back from the land of the rising sun, i would say its a good experience but the next time i go, definitely will go for more sight seeing rather than just shopping.

Weather is good though, cold!!!! I like~~~

Anyway, its freaking busy at work and so much uncertainties but i have already made up my mind and i want to take this risk while im still young. Cross fingers and hope for the best.

Also, i think im really getting old. Been getting very tired recently dunno why. Was pretty packed for the renovations preparations, work etc and i totally no time to watch TBEE liao loh hahhhaa……

Ok, its so random….im getting tired again.

Im leaving for the land of the rising sun is another 8 hours!!! Will be going for work to check out the Tokyo Anime Festival. Its my virgin trip to Japan and im in fact very excited and looking forward to it….

BUT i was soooo freaking busy this week, i haven had time to do any research…so i guess can only hope my colleague will bring me around.

Daigo Kobayashi (Masahiro Motoki) is a devoted cellist in an orchestra that has just been dissolved and now finds himself without a job. Daigo decides to move back to his old hometown with his wife to look for work and start over. He answers a classified ad entitled “Departures” thinking it is an advertisement for a travel agency only to discover that the job is actually for a “Nokanshi” or “encoffineer,” a funeral professional who prepares deceased bodies for burial and entry into the next life. While his wife and others despise the job, Daigo takes a certain pride in his work and begins to perfect the art of “Nokanshi,” acting as a gentle gatekeeper between life and death, between the departed and the family of the departed. The film follows his profound and sometimes comical journey with death as he uncovers the wonder, joy and meaning of life and living.

After like 2 attempted tries to watch the movie but always full house, we managed to catch the show last night.

I was crying like mad during the entire movie….it was quite a predictable plot, knowing exactly where the story will end but the rituals for the encoffinment are so delicate and detailed, and the different way different people react to the departed….some sad, some full of regret, some bidding their goodbyes in smiles…..it really makes you think about the life and death….but not a heavy story though.

The ANG was as usual luffing at me when i teared but i wasnt the worse loh……i could hear ppl sniffing and crying loudly in the cinema. We are just sentimental emo creatures. ha ha

Those not watch it yet, please do go catch the movie in GV.

Last Friday was Bin’s cousin HuiHui ROM. Went Sheraton Towers for the ceremony. So happy to see her getting hitched as we all realli treat her like a small sister. Sincerely wish her a blissful marriage.

My very smart-dat-day ANG

Today is Sunday….and i dread the week that is coming….or should i say, i dread work…..

It is becoming ridiculously busy….sometimes i do salute myself for able to cope with all the shit….by myself. My department is a very small department and i have to accept that its work…but sometimes all i needed is a little help from very free fellow colleagues but nope, Ah Ly gotta get real and wake up. That is not gonna happen.

The options are laid out clearly in front of me….should i be practical and move on to somewhere where firstly, the works are superbly well done and not treated like 2nd class citizens?? Or should i hang on to my passion yet work like a dog and be in a team where team-work is not uniformly executed.

3 more weeks…..

I have seriously got to stop eating…..ever since after the photoshoot, i have been eating and eating….and eating….

I gained back all the weight i lost…WTF!!!!

Acupuncture n exercise again for Ah Ly…….

Im back to chasing Taiwan Drama and this time its 败犬女王. It is very nice, humorous and the leads are very yummy looking. Its showing til episodes 8 now and i cheong all 8 episodes within 1 night…..withdrawal symptoms now hahaha.

Was deciding between Slumdog or K-20 and finally settled for K-20 cos bro-in law n gf have already watched Slumdog.

Anyway K-20 is in my opinion a so-so movie. Was amused by the fact that its machiam like Batman, Superman, Robinhood, Matrix all in one. Ha ah but the twist was kinda good. Nv expected that til the last sec.

And as usual, Takeshi Kaneshiro is yummy. His voice very sexy can~
