Yes, 9 years after the glory 1999 for Man U, they finally made it into the finals for Champions League. They beat Barcelona 1-0 to enter into an all-english finals in Moscow on 21 May.

I secretly hope Chelsea will win Liverpool tonite….so that Man U & Chelsea will meet in the finals and dats when Man U can take their revenge!!!

Ok back to the game, it was a fast paced game through and through….damn shiok to watch. Man U played well but i personally tot Barcelona was better. Their ball possession was better and passing all zhun zhun…Messi was one dangerous guy. No one seems to be able to mark him.

But Paul Scholes changes everything. Ronaldo got the ball, was tackled by Xavi, and when Xavi wanted to pass the ball to Yaya Toure, somehow found Paul Scholes. With it, he made his trademark shot and yes!!!!!! its a goal!!!!

Ha ha The ANG and I were so happy yet couldn’t scream cos the other family members were all sleeping….

Ok, i was too excited to blog about my MAYDAY concert, thus missing my post about my last day in O. Anyway, i dunno y, maybe i gave ppl the feeling im a HUM BAO…..ok i admit im a tad too emotional but whats with all the emails asking me not to cry?

Ha ha i was kinda amused man…..but nope… Ms Ly is a strong little girl. I exit with grace.
sidenote: actually i know i will alwaes still see the guys so nothing realli to be sad about.

Co-incidentally, its oso Ah Heng’s last day… so we the 2 Ah Lims, bid goodbye to the peeps from O and look forward to our new challenges.

在几小时之前， 五月天回到地球表面演唱会结束了。
再一次的兴奋，再一次的感动。

不管他们来的频率有多频繁，我还是觉得不够
期待着他们下一次的演唱。

这次的演唱会唱了比较多早期的歌，也少了一些台语歌
不过还是非常好看。

除了阿信，其他成员都开口唱了。
意外的发现原来石头和怪兽唱歌很好听哦！

这一次，我最爱的表演还是“温柔”。
每每听到全席的观众大和唱，我就会莫名的非常感动。

我想这次对我来说唯一的遗憾就是没有听到五月天演唱憨人。

总的来说，就是，我爱怪兽！我爱五月天！

Caught the movie yesterday with The ANG after dinner. Hmm i heard from radio about the good reviews but it was yet another disappointment.

The story was slow and draggy and i just cant wait for it to end. Also, i feel the show is very pro-jesus. Not trying to start any religious topics but the show mentioned things like not praying to jesus will go to hell?? hello?

Anyway, i think the movie last year “Happy Birthday” by the same 2 leads is so much better.

Went DFS with Mag on fri before meeting Karen for dinner. By chance saw this beauty…..is chio de loh!!!!!!
Tried carrying it and its not heavy yet its big enough for all barangs…… Im so gonna save up for it….but its not cheap…. SGD 1850 so even get in Europe oso around SGD 1600 ba…..

But its nice de loh~

Sat was such an interesting day…..accompanied Bestie to our Bridal Shop to do gown selection for her photo shoot in June. We started around 630pm and ended at 1030pm. 4 hours to choose 4 outfits hahaha but time passes by without us knowing.

Bestie figure wea what oso nice de loh….damn i really must start to workout liao…..its about 1 yr to my photo shoot…..must really try to tone up though i know still can rely on post processing touch up lah hahahah

Well, bestie chose 2 weddings gowns and 2 evening gowns….absolutely stunning….especially for 1 of her evening gown..i zita goose bumps when i saw loh~~

After her session, im like so looking forward to my turn loh…..my gown selection will only take place in Feb 09…..so long can hahahha.

I rem i once told The ANG, holding hands is a very intimate gesture…..even more than kissing…to me….so i can totally relate to this song by 吳克群 – 牵牵牵手. Although i dun realli like him (cos he alwaes say wan to beat Jay)

And i once read an article…..when u are holding hands with someone, if it doesnt fit or is uncomfortable, he/she is not the one for u….abit too kua zhang but i do agree that when holding someone hands…if it molds n fit perfectly, i will feel very happy. The same with Hugging…..i seriously think dat holding hands and hugging is even more important than kissing.

Im glad The ANG is so huggable and his hand fits.

It was a sinful day yesterdae….food and more food….

The peeps from O took a whopping near 3 hours lunch break and escaped to the “island” @ Marina Keppel Bay. Food was taken at TCC in celebrations for Simon and Ah Heng Birthdays.

Food was ok, but somehow we stuffed ourselves silly….getting all so food…knowing we have another dinner a couple of hours later…..

Ms Ly had the Asparagus Chowder Soup and the Seafood Aglio Olio complete with a pot of Morning Dew (Green Tea with Rose Hips and some lemon thingy)

Later that night, together with man n pen, jerry and the usual group, we went to The French Store. Have been hearing raves about this place and a perfect time to try it out.

Tucked in a corner in Little India, its a quaint little kopitiam selling Authentic French food @ very reasonable prices…

Reasonable prices, yes i admit but nice? I beg to differ…..or maybe i have heard so much that my expectations were too high…granted, the French Onions Soup was delicious…full of onions at only $4.80 but the escargot was a big disappointment.

I mean what is french food without delicious escargot right?

Luckily the main dish save the day. The Duck Leg with Foie Gras was nice…Foie Gras was creamy but not dat oily and the duck was tender and coupled with the lentil, it was good.

I guess i would still go again but no no for the escargot.

Met up with the 2009 brides on Tuesday for dinner….as usual…laughter all the way. Initially we wanted to eat at Chinatown but due to the rain, we adjourned to HK Cafe @ Marina Square instead.

Next outing with them will be KTBEE!!! Yeah… very long nv go la la la liao..but i think my role is more of tok cock n drink ba….

Dennis was playing cooking and she even counted how many of us were there and prepared “food” for us…..hahah But dat being said, i still think other ppl kids are better to play with. I cant imagine me being a mum. hahah

This is an eventful Sat…..had a very late lunch at Bedok Blk 85 before going to the Luxury Living Exhibition @ Expo with The Ang, Xiong & Xuan….. basically just wanted to go take a look at the different Interior Design companies. Talked to a few companies….not many were impressive….only liked 2 companies, where the designers were confident in their works and realli seems very sincere.

Well, will KIV them and maybe just send in my floor plan to get a quotation…for the fun of it…since my reno will not be taking place til next year. Looking very forward to it though~

After the exhibition, we proceeded to Siglap for some cheesecake. Highly recommended by Xuan….taste good! We went after dat and decided not to go for the movie that we initially planned on…..BUT after resting for a while, the mood came and we rushed down Sunplaza for it.

Well, im not really familiar with the 三国 stories so there is no issue of linking them to the real facts…the movie was so-so and i prefer the fighting scenes from 投名状. Of the 3 war-related movies by Andy Lau (墨攻，投名状，三国之见龙御甲) i like 墨攻 the best……

Anyway, there were only like 2 scenes i like in the movie….i think not really worth the money lah..can watcg DVD. But im now very interested in the 三国 stories…i only know the famous characters but not really the stories so i guess its worth to go learn more about the history now.
