After my terrible facial on Friday, went dinner with Alfred and Shan. Proceeded to Central and try out this restaurant call Ma Maison. Its a Japanese Western Restaurant and the interior is very cosy, very country style.

Anyway, we ordered some sides, escargot & assorted sausage. Alf had spaghetti in seafood cream sauce, Shan had the Mentaiko spaghetti and Ms Ly ordered the cuttlefish black ink spaghetti.

The food is seriously nice! Will definitely go again.

Went to a trial facial at this place call Wellness Village. Tot that if price is reasonable, i may consider going there monthly since its near my company.

And my 1st impression is that the place looks comfortable enough. BAD Choice!!!!!

At first, there was this beautician who started accessing my face then after cleansing, another beautician came in and i was “given” to her. No instructions were given, no re-assessing of my face. Then the 1st assessment do for fun ah??

Nvm, then i told her i had eyeliner on my lower lid and she said she will do a “double cleanse” but no loh….at the end of the facial, the eye make up is still there!!! U tell me clean??? Then when cleansing she was damn rough, getting the foam onto my lips and into my nostrils…i was waiting for her to clean me up but nope, happily just ignore so i told her to do so.

When cleaning my face of foam, she realli just brush the cloth over my face!!! Without touching my face i could already feel teh residue STILL on my face and i had to tell her to clean it thoroughly TWICE!!!! And she still dare answer me “Oh you like it rough” DUH!!! i just want my face to be freaking clean!!!

The last straw….the 2 rooms were separated by a sliding door and both beauticians used the products from the same station meaning the sliding door was opened the whole time. And it doesnt help that the customer next door was yakking and yakking non stop….i was dozing off during the massage and was freaking woke up by the laughter!!!!!

After the facial. the consultant was asking me how was the facial so i just told her everything….i wasnt expecting her to apologize or wat but she just told me “then u fill in the form and write loh” and promtly requested my credit card for bill. I was contemplating not to pay for it loh but thinking i DID went through the facial so i paid for it.

NB!!! This is the worst facial i have ever been to……..

As the ANG was busy with work & exams on V day, we did not meet up for any dinner or celebrations. Therefore, we made it up yesterday by having dinner and catching the movie P.S I Love You.

Well come to think about it, we do not usually celebrate for V Day…too many ppl plus prices are alwaes rocking high. Instead we usually do it on 元宵. Ha Ha

Anyway, dinner was at Shashilik and it never fails to impress me. Surprisingly, service was quite good this time (they are quite well-known for their grumpy service) and my Shashilik of lamb is cooked perfectly. The ANG had the Shashilik of beef and he too loves it.

Movie was really good….I like it…its romantic but not the usual romantic….haha lucky the ending nv stop at the part the lead kisses the bartender fren else it will be damn predictable….i was thinking in my heart “the movie ending is ruined” but lucky got twist lah hahahah

Like what the bestie said, its realli a makan-ing period….non stop fri sat sun eat alot….

Anyway after ZW Birthday Dinner on sat, the whole group proceeded to Safra Partyworld. Wah 人是多到~ 来来回回 we got like 25 pax top. The room was not big enuff loh….its been a long time such a big group come out. All was peace until liquor came into the picture…hahahah

In the end i realised that one of my primary school mate was like damn ali loh……he was drunk so i drove him home and all he could say is “im not drunk, i can go home myself….” so funny.

The birthday boy

Just gotten the photos from Yuan….her ROM was held last Oct at Orchard Hotel.

Yuan Yuan was my primary schoolmate as well as The ANG’s cousin. I knew The ANG through her when we were in primary school.

And my ever so cute niece

After a very delicious and expensive lunch, Ms Ly proceeded to meet the gers from NBSS for dinner at Bottle Tree back north. The gers all either have full lunch or had fruits beforehand so our dinner was quite light.

Chatted for a while before adjourning to bestie house for some mahjong session…hahah been a while since i last exercise my hands kekek but still lose $$….

Went for the CNY Lunch today with the company. After deciding from a few restaurants, we decided to go Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant at the Turf City. Used to go there for birthday dinners haha think about 4-5 years nv go le…

Anyway, we choose the seafood like damn rich like dat loh…. and the bill came up to $700 plus b4 gst. -_-” BUT worthwhile lah…cos we have like 9 of us and the food all quite nice.

A pity dun have Alaska Crab…one of the objective was to have dat de….think not in season ba…..so we had Australia King Crabs instead. On top of the crab, we had lobster, 象拔磅, scallops, fish.

The lobster and 象拔磅 sashimi…the 象拔磅 is a tad too fishy but when lightly cooked in the soup provided, its very nice. The lobster taste good raw or cooked.

Our Australia King Crab cooked black pepper style and the huge amount of roe is cooked with spinach i think. Only ate a few mouthful cos scared cholesterol too high.

Preston recommended 红斑 but dun have so we went along with “东星”班, not bad very fresh….

Before and After….The lobster legs were cooked in 盐椒…very delicious to suck on hahahah.

Lastly, this is the first married year with The ANG…but we are still collecting Ang Baos hahah cos not yet customary mah….dun care next year i can still collect… hahah and we are coincidently dressed with Pink elements hahah

Ms Ly bought a 320GB External Hard Disk from Alf i think last year….then we tot it was faulty and he helped me send back to the company and got a 1-1 exchange. Then still cannot use so we realised its the cover problem….so all Ms Ly need to do is to get a cover and the hard disk is good to use…

BUT…….procrastinating is my middle name so it just sits on my desk for almost a year (i think) and finally today, Ms Ly Kahong went Sim Lim and he helped get the cover for me…..so ta dah~ here is my 320gb hard disk ready for use.

The coin pouch is there to highlight that the hard disk is not dat bulky after all….hahahha

My daily exercise: 30 mins on the trimmer and 30 mins with the OTO Trimax….plus 2 sessions of gym a week, please please let me slim down…..i dun wan to be a bui bui bride.

Just like dat, the holidays are over. Starting work tomorrow. Hope that be it work, health, monetary, etc all will be smooth. Ok here are some backdated post.

Watched Kungfu Dunk last week with the usual group. Well, i wouldnt say it is a fantastic movie. Not much substance in the plot but its quite funny. I guess if its not for Jay Chou, i probably would not watch it in cinema.

Slept at 5am yesterday but woke up at 9am today to book the Mayday concert tickets….yes, they are coming back this year again in a bigger venue, more fancy stage. How could i miss it? So i dragged my butt out and got our tickets!! Got the $168 tickets at the block A16.

Accompanied my dad to Singapore Turf Club today. There are like sooo many people there loh….This is my 2nd time to the Turf Club and i tot i will try my luck abit.

Stayed for 7 games and i managed to win 300+….actually only supposed to be The Ang win, he wrote the slip wrongly and there was a double bet placing so i took the extra bet. The auntie still say me nv write properly loh but win lah so still ok.

Keke….i think occasionally come still ok lah….standing for almost 4 hours in a 3 inch heels is not kidding man….my feet hurts~

I think i must be crazy…on this chinese new year eve, i should be doing things like housechores and such but ms ly here went ahead to do her exercises hahah.

Not that im siao onz but i think cos the coming new year i will like eat alot loh so at least i must maintain exercise once a week. Wanted to go jogging but the family members all say i crazy so i just did my exercises indoor.

I must control not to eat too much this festive season!!!!! Hope to get more ang baos……my last 2 years eligible to get ang baos.

I first read this book about 3 years back and i tot “How nice it would be if it is made into a movie.” So when i heard a movie will be made based on the book, i was so looking forward to it.

The ANG was quite relecutant to watch it with me yesterdae but after many tries of watever i can think of, he agreed. Yeah! So after dinner with the bestie and her hubby at Serangoon Garden, we proceed to Cineleisure Orchard.

The movie was just as great as the book. Although not as detailed but all the important scenes were there. I just couldnt stop my tears….

It talks about the class system in the country, their culture and human nature. And i like the character of the “Father” best. Well when i read the book, nv realli tot much about him but the actor Homayoun Ershadi realli brings out the character.

On a Friday night, the bunch of us reached Ballymoon just slightly before 9pm….and we left around 1030pm. Why so early you might ask…..because the singing SUCKS!!!!

Last Friday Shirin sang at Ballymoon so by right today should be Man Toyan AKA Mat YoYo (i named him so~) but when we reached there i checked with the crew and they told us Mat Yoyo no longer sings there!!! Apparently he is now stationed at Hard Rocks instead.

Sad can~ The Shirin really sings very badly….her high notes are like damn noisy can!!! So after finishing our balance and a pint of beer, we decided to go.

I think either we got to find another hangout or to see if the new group that replaces Mat Yoyo is good anot. Note: we would not choose to go Hard Rock too cos the beverage there sucks….imagine they only serve Carlsbeg on tap…nothing else.

My guess is….maybe Timbre…..
