Have been chasing HK dramas for the past few months. Every night at 10pm, my sister and i will be sitting in front of the TV watching the 1 and 40mins of HK drama shown on channel 55.

Currently watching 胭脂水粉. Revolving around family and the business. Not bad. But sometimes abit buay tahan the bitchy women in the show.

Also, my papa wanted to watch another drama call 布衣神相 but its showing at 8pm and he is watching 小气大财神 so i went to rent the drama for him to watch during weekends.

At first i tot not nice cos its like talking about 武林stuffs….so damn long nv watch these kind of shows…but when i started watching, i find it quite addictive hahah….

I guess after these 2 shows i want to go catch 火舞黄沙，溏心风暴 & 舞动全城.

Haiz i cant wait for next month to come….bringing my parents to cruise….i think they need a break from work and i need the break too…..just lazing ard on the deck with the wind blowing…..very shiok….

my parents in law and bin side relatives oso going….haha can get my parents n them to mingle ard too since all family liao…

This weekend is a weekend of gatherings….first there was the MS9912 gathering at Minori UE Square, The dye-hair cum shopping session with the gers and Ex-colleagues gathering at Dennis House Warming.

Met the MS9912 peeps for dinner @ Minori UE Square. Had high expectations for the food but it turns out so so only so was a tad disappointed. Anyway we ate and we chat and after dinner, we adjourned to Villa Bali for drinks. This is the 8th year we have known each others and the relationship is still growing strong. We even tot of planning an overseas trip for our 10th year of knowing each other. Ha Ha.

Then on Sat, me and the bestie woke up early and proceeded to Seng Kang. Why Seng Kang? Cos we are meeting Kel and Min to DIY dye our hair. Ha Ha damn long nv DIY liao loh…..i think the last time me n the bestie do dat was when we were still in poly.

Anyway, kel and the bestie had their Orh Lu Lu hair but mine still had a tinge of brown even when i gotten the black dye. Haiz…

We met Ping @ Chinatown to continue our pursuit of the purple-theme-dress for the bestie’s sister wedding and finally this time we got it!!! And i further stretch my pocket by getting a top, a pair of berms and a pair of shoes.

Total damage $123 (of which $42 is sponsored by the bestie’s sister)

Then came Sun when Jim, Ping and me set off to Dennis House Warming. His place is very nicely renovated and i was so amazed with his pets. 3 dogs and 4 cats….all so beautifully groomed. Pity i forget to take pictures with his Husky and Malamute. Well it was nice seeing the ex colleagues and i wonder when it will be again.

My sister told me about this ad and said it was damn funny so i took notice and i have to say the guy is realli very funny.

The “Ang” did not have any OT on sat so he willingly accompanied me shopping. Theres a few weddings coming up in Oct and Nov so i guess time to get some dresses. The bestie was telling me the clothes @ Chinatown Peoples Park are quite good so i dragged the “Ang” there.

Wow! the clothes there really buay pai wor..hmm its abit like bugis and far easy clothes but then again, there are office wear that are really very nice and cheap. Definitely a place to go if u wan cheap and nice tops for office. Ah Ly got herself a satin black dress @ only $48. A steal i would say.

Anyway, the “Ang” had previously went to a dessert shop at Peoples Park and brought me there for the Mango Ice, I think the one @ Market street is so much better but the “Ang” tots was greatly appreciated. Oh and they served it in these bowls that is like so retro loh.

Later that day, i was thinking of just staying in and watch “Band of Brothers” (its damn farking nice can~ Easy Company Hi Ho Silver!) but we still went out for dinner cos its Yuanz birthday tml so its a pre celebration. Actually we din do much, just dinner @ Serangoon Garden while watching soccer.

The guys were acting cool….but someone already started to “am choi” ha ha

Oh i have to introduce this dish @ Shashilik. Its call the Banana Flambee. First the auntie will cook the banana in melted butter with peanuts, then after dat add in BRANDY and it must be a generous amount, and the last act, pour the banana over a scope of ice cream. I tell you, its heavenly. The banana soaked up the brandy and its soft and…..just delicious.

The pups went grooming and came back looking good…but Nana (the hairy one) really very naughty. She poo poo on the sofa and bin wacked her to punish her….she came to me for help but i ignored her….must show her we are angry else she dun listen de loh…..they are both toilet-trained but dunno y Nana always do her biz out of the zone.

本人非常喜欢看旅游节目，坊间也有很多旅游性质的节目，因为没有机会到那些国家嘛。

我想要说的是，看了那么多的节目，（本地，台湾，中国的）最近被本地的制作非常满意。

郭亮介绍的不是普遍的旅游景点，而是少数人知道的当地周遭的人文、景致、美食或当地特色。记得我在看第2集“西藏 (最后的天堂)” 的时候，还被深深的感动，还哭了！哈哈。看了真想去西藏阿。

Im a very lazy person. I dun do regular house keeping like some of the lass i know. I do surface housekeeping weekly but those major overhaul like clearing the bookcase, wardrobe, basically cleaning the whole damn room i do it like once every 1-3 months….i think the previous major project was done in June! Ha Ha.

Anyway, it was a trip down memory lane for Ah Ly on Sat. I dunno am i a sentimental person or i still keep all the junks. I dig out soooo many old stuffs!!! Stuffs from my first bf, letters me n the gers wrote to each other, greeting cards from frens, neo-prints, photo cards, my arcade tokens collections and even my pink memo jazz pager!!!

Well, ask me throw away all these i will 不舍得 but keep oso dunno keep for wat hahah….anyway these are my memories that made me who i am todae so will still keep them.

After almost 5 hours of clearing, cleaning, wiping, throwing, changing sheets, my room is once again clean. Lets see how long it will take for me to start on another project clean-room.

Oh last week was movie week for Ah Ly as well. Watch RATATOUILLE on Wed, then caught Premonition on Sat with the “ANG” and 881 on Sun with my family.

I tot Premonition was good, but the “ANG” dun realli like. I like how it makes me think….but the ending hmm….no spoiler here…..Anyway i love time lapse movies hahahha…..like Lakehouse and Secret.

Hmm, my parents wanted to watch so we brought them to watch this local film by Royston Tan. Up til now still full house loh!! Scary, but i think i dun really appreciate the songs but as long as my parents are happy, im happy.

Oh and lastly, Congratulations to our friend Xiuru and Wenhui on the arrival of their little princess Charlene. Visited them on Fri but realised no pictures of me carrying the bb?? Im scared of newborn bb….too soft and i know im very chor loh so better not risk hurting the little one.

Ella的爱犬蔷蔷过世，她亲自创作“蔷蔷”纪念爱犬，并化小爱为大爱，将24日发行的“蔷蔷”EP收益捐给流浪动物之家，Ella说：“我要收起悲伤，把爱分送给更多的牠！”

体弱多病的蔷蔷让Ella又爱又怜蔷蔷是Ella在2003年底买的巴哥犬，刚买来时，因为发现牠走路常会拐倒，S.H.E就开玩笑地将牠取名为“落炼”，后来才发现原来明明就是母狗的蔷蔷，因为体内雄性贺尔蒙过高而变成了阴阳狗，也导致牠体弱多病，所以 Ella将牠改名为“蔷蔷”，取“强强”的谐音，希望牠身体强壮一些。蔷蔷三年来病痛不断，身体也比一般巴哥犬小一号，连兽医曾说，蔷蔷生过的病可以写成一本兽医教科书了。也因为蔷蔷全身是病，所以Ella为蔷蔷付出了更多的心力及感情。

因为贺尔蒙失调之故，兽医建议蔷蔷开刀结紮，没想到以前已经开过两次刀的牠，这次却对麻药产生过敏反应，在手术台上一睡不起。当天(6月4日)下午要起程前往香港工作的Ella，赶到医院见到蔷蔷最后一面后，带着眼泪上了飞机，在飞机及工作车程中，哭着在笔记本上完成了这首“蔷蔷”。

谱写“蔷蔷”纪念爱犬悲伤了许多天的Ella，在生日前决定收起眼泪，用笑容送蔷蔷到天上当小天使。6 月18日在Ella的生日派对里，会场布置了满满的蔷蔷及S.H.E的三只贵宾狗阿贵、小宾、狗狗的照片。制作人王治平老师则带来了编好曲的“蔷蔷”成品送给Ella当礼物，当音乐响起之后，Ella的二姊首先崩溃，Ella也放声大哭，与蔷蔷感情深厚的工作人员们，这时也被感人真挚的歌词感动落泪。就在现场一片泪海的同时，第二首“蔷蔷”音乐响起，居然是Remix舞曲版本，Ella愣了一下，随即大笑，还跟着音乐跳起舞来。王治平老师表示，他做了这首 Remix版“蔷蔷”，就是希望Ella在感伤与想念之后，还是要开心的过日子，这样在天上的蔷蔷才会放心。

上个月S.H.E前往大陆宣传“PLAY”专辑，一个访谈节目找来了大大小小的狗狗，陪爱狗的 S.H.E录影。Ella聊起蔷蔷，声音已经哽咽，此时制作单位又让一只巴哥犬现身，让Ella打破了不再哭的誓言，喃喃自语：“你好像蔷蔷喔！”边哭边温柔地抚摸着这只巴哥犬，回忆着以前与蔷蔷相处的时光。Ella说，家里到处都有蔷蔷的身影，起初她不敢看蔷蔷睡觉的狗窝、不敢回想每次洗澡蔷蔷就会等在浴室门口的画面，现在终於已经调适好心情。反倒是身边的工作人员，每次听到“蔷蔷”这首歌就会哭，她还得反过来安慰大家，让她好气又好笑。

分文不取期望抛砖引玉呼籲大家爱护动物回到台湾后，Ella结束了“PLAY”宣传工作，全心投入“蔷蔷”EP的企画及制作。Ella表示，一开始“蔷蔷”这首歌只是她为了纪念蔷蔷而作的，但是后来她希望将小爱化为大爱，於是与公司讨论，决定将“蔷蔷”以纪念EP的方式发行，并将收益捐赠给流浪动物之家，未来也将与流浪动物之家合办活动，希望藉此呼籲所有饲养宠物的饲主，要珍惜与宠物相处的时光，更不要随意丢弃心爱的宠物。

这张EP，Ella除了词曲创作费分文不取，也会捐出所有版税收入外，她还拿出自己为蔷蔷画的画像做成 EP封面，并贡献许多私房照片制作成MV，另外也收录了“老婆”这首歌的Demo，让这张EP更具纪念价值。为了响应这个公益的举动，制作人王治平老师、编曲老师也都义务付出、连压CD片的厂商也打了折扣，还有狗食厂商愿意赞助，共襄盛举。

Ella说，制作“蔷蔷”EP最重要的就是希望发挥抛砖引玉的效果，除了提醒大家要爱惜自己的宠物，更可以发挥爱心关怀流浪动物。她说：“蔷蔷走了以后，我还是会期待有一天再次的看到牠，再摸摸牠，再抱抱牠，再看看牠无辜的脸，再让牠咬咬我的手。这世界上有很多跟蔷蔷一样善良的人，他们会跟我一起帮助需要帮助的流浪动物们，我相信变成小天使的蔷蔷在天堂一定也会保佑大家的。”

Met the bestie n Oh 先生 for dinner yesterdae at Marina Square HK Cafe. Actually the bestie was there to get a birthday gift for her colleague and after dinner it was almost closing time for all the shops so we were like rushing to get the gift. Damn hilarious. Anyway, she managed to get the gift at the very last min.

Well the 3 of us were like damn hungry loh so we ordered alot and as expected, we couldn’t finish even with Oh 先生 around. -_-

This was something unexpected. I mean the show. The bunch at work decided to catch a weeknight movie and Ratatouille was the choice. I tot it should be the same old same old animation story but hey hey hey, Ratatouille was excellent.

The storyline was not complicated, the animations details were amazing, jokes were like REALLY funny and i like even the baddies in it. But there were some scenes which i find it too real and was abit grossed out. Ha ha.

I would rate it a 4.5/5. Nice one Pixar!

Because im on a Keep Fit program, im not supposed to be eating too much sushi so ta da, Me and my Zaru Soba.

But Kel ordered Salmon Skin and i tried to sneak 3 one piece. AND i was caught on cam while Ping looked on.

Ha ha ha.

Heard from someone a week back about his fren problem. His wife was comparing him with her fren’s husbands. From car, salary, to how big the rock was. And was so ugly with the words she used. I pity him.

Then it got me thinking, y do everyone like to compare?

Well if u ask me do I compare, hell I would be lying if I say no.

I go to gym and when I see the slim women running alongside me, I compare and I envy her body and I wish I was slimmer.

When I see a women with perfect skin, I compare and I envy and I wish I have skin like dat too.

When during frens/family outing, discussion on salary will always be one of the topic and when I hear younger peeps earning much more I compare and I envy and I wish my salary was higher.

But I think there are 2 types of comparing:

• Comparing=Jealous
• Comparing=Envy

And I think I definitely do not belong to the first. Yes, I envy but I guess some things are 可欲不可求, if I’m not meant to be a tall, slim, pretty, rich lass, I guess I should be contended being a fat, poor and maybe just being cute. Ha ha

Went to the Novotel Dreams Wedding Show on Sat with Bin. There were sooooo many people. And most of the weekends for year 2008 were already taken up!!!

Well, our purpose was just to check out the packages and to check when they would accept bookings for 2009. It will definitely be more worth to book during road show or wedding show so I checked with them if they will participate in the BOWs 2008.

After discussing with Bin, we might just shortlist them for our dinner in 2009.
