I like to watch wrestling. I know, so not a lady should do but i guess the watching-wrestling-with-papa when i was young has something to do with it.
I dun religiously chase the matches but whenever we see interesting matches on TV we will watch lah. I rem i used to love the Bret The Hitman Hart . So cool…..
Anyway my purpose of this entry is that Ah Heng is also an avid wrestling lover. He jio me to go watch the SmackDown SummerSlam in July as some of the wrestlers will be coming to Singapore for the Tour. This is something which i think once in a lifetime should go see de loh….
The colleagues have been talking about an outing to taste the Tonkatsu with very very good reviews. Ah Ly has already tasted that on the “Ang” Birthday but IT WAS NOT ENUFF. So yesterdae the colleagues (and when i say colleagues, it includes Jerry.), we all went to the Taka branch and had our fair share of pork.
I had the Rosa Katsu (Loin) and Prawns but i gave 1 of my prawns to Ah Heng in exchange of his Oysters ha ha. WE R SMART!!
The Katsu was very crispy….before you have a chance to sink your teeth into the tender and juicy meat, you will hear the ka-chi ka-chi sound. The prawns was only so so…..BUT the oysters is very nice….crispy on the outside, sweet and juicy on the inside and absolutely fresh. I would strongly recommend the oysters.
The other good thing i would recommend is that patrons please upgrade the miso soup. I cannot rem the exact name but the upgraded soup was good with lots of “liao” in it. Chicken, mushroom, and a jelly-like food which is very chewy.
Lastly, rice and cabbage are refillable so you can stuff yourselves silly. The rice is very shiny and chewy just the way i like it but i had only 1 serving. Only Heng had 2 servings, the cabbage, please slap on plenty of salad sauce….very crunchy! The 7 of us managed to finished 1 1/2 bottle of salad sauce. Moo~ Moo~
And after the meal, we were too full to move. This is bad, after my ROM i have been eating and eating n more eating……

This Redwan Ali is not any newbie. You can see his name in the credits in quite a number of tv series and apparently i heard he is releasing his album soon, next month in fact.

Now that i caught Spiderman 3 and Pirates Of The Caribbean 3, the next show im looking forward to will definitely be Harry Potters & The Order Of Phoenix. Showing in July. Oh and i heard JK Rowling will be writing a 8th book?? hmm sometimes good things must come to an end. Too 勉强反而no good.

Yes, im married. Im Mrs Teo now but funnily enough, people call me Mrs Bin ha ha but i still very much prefers to be still address as Miss Lim. Ha Ha Ha.
Mon pratically just whizz pass, i woke up, had some breaky, spent 15mins putting on my contacts (it was a disaster) and do my make up when Dana came. I totally love my look. She tried to fix on some fake hair for me to become long haired ah ly and i totally freaked out. ha ha so i told her my concerns and she just turned my hair into another look. N it was a look i totally heart!!!
I had previously researched for bridal hairstyles but no chance to highlight to her but she just happen to turn me into that. N the make up was realli very well done. I had lots of compliments from my guests n my photographer! The look was the classic Audrey Hepburn look. i likey~
She had this skill of turning single eyelid gers into double eyelid and it was done without using any glue or tape. Totally Pro and totally natural. I had people asking me about my MUA so i have attached her portfolio here. Interested please call Dana at 92477093. Thumbs Up!
Phototaking session was fun. We sucks at posing so we realli need the directions from Jonathan else we would just be standing there at a loss. ha saw some shots from Jonathan’s cam and i have to say im happy with it but photos will have to wait til he process them which should be in a months time.
All was still under control until upon reaching the restaurant. The previous couple were still in the restaurant so our guests just either loiter near the entrance or sat upstairs in funny places waiting. My JP did not reach til 325pm so you can imagine how stressed up i was.
Finally the solemnization starts. Funny loh, 40 and JX solemnization was so heart warming and touching with tears and all but when it comes to me n bin, totally comical. Ha Ha guess we are just not those lovey dovey couples.
Food was nice, had compliments from quite a lot of guests but 40 did not like the pork ribs in mocha sauce. Me oso actually. A bit burnt taste. I would rate it an overall 4/5 for the food and service at Peony Jade.
Oh the only downside is we did not have the time to take pictures with friends. It was just hectic and i now finally understood 40 feelings last dec.
Anyway, it ended in a happy note and i would like to thank all the guests for turning up and for the help given in 1 way or another. Thank you bestie for the surpise gift. Love it! Also a big thank to all the sms greetings and wishes. Even received Dap’s greetings all the way from Aussie. Hee
Post Celebrations:
The usual group proceeded to KTV. The atmosphere was very happy, nv seen the guys so enthu in taking photos….(the photos shall speaks for itself) N joker of the day will definately goes to Derrick.
They were really in the mood for Grasshopper man. Dunno is it because of 娱乐100% the 忘情三芭舞 or the recent charity show or their concert. Now whenever we go K, sure will sing their songs and it ALWAYS will be accompanied by dances. Ha Ha Ha.

18th May (Fri)
The girls (40, Ping, Carman, Florence, Yinmin) bought me dinner at Sun with Moon Japanese Restaurant and drinks at the Clinic at Clark Quay.
The food at Sun with Moon was alrite (i had grilled pork cheeks, very tender) but the company i had was great! very long nv had Yinmin with us on our gatherings. We even tok about going for an all gers resort trip, it will realli be cool if we can have full force with Joanne joining as well.
Anyway i had no idea what i was getting into.. The gers brought some props and dressed me up demanding me to walk around Clark Quay. Hello?! damn mula can? But me being me, the alwaes onz ah ly, i took it all on and walk just a teeny bit distance. I became Phua Chu Kang’s sister and Bruce Lee’s sister.
19th May (Sat)
Sat is Bin’s birthday as well as our last date as dating couple. He had to go to work so i went for my Massage and Body Scrub before meeting him.
Was supposed to treat him to Shashlik for dinner but he is having a cough so we had to think of another place for our dinner.I was craving for the Tonkichi Tonkatsu so Bin insisted we eat there. While i ordered the Rosa Katsu (Pork Loin), Bin ordered the healthy dish Ton Shabu (boiled pork slices).
The Rosa Katsu i had was really very nice. The outside was crispy and the inside soft and tender. We tried the Miso Sauce and Salsa and both are good. Shall arrange another visit with the colleagues.
We then went window shopping and i saw a Gucci bag that i liked costing $850 but LV Speedy 25 is only $950 so i guess it makes more sense to get the LV one.
Target: By this year end to get ha ha. Oh and we went Hour Glass and i saw this Rolex design that i like. $12,000. JAWS DROPPED. Totally out of ah ly’s league.
20th May (Sun)
Supposed to go for my Mani & Pedi with 40 & Bin but she is stuck at work (yes! on a sunday) so i had to go alone with Bin. Bin opted for just the classic mani n buff til shine and he was showing everyone his nails later on. So cute.
Collected my posy from Jac later on in the day but i was very disappointed. It wasnt the flowers that i initially asked for but i gave my permission to the alternative flowers used.
The shape was not round and 1 side of it poked out like a sore thumb. The ribbon tied on was too big and long and i had to trim it myself when i got home.
During the shoot, the flowers were already dying and dropping out in all directions. The only consolation was that the color was bright enough.
Nevertheless, the whole ROM actions (Research and Preparations started last November)are over and im glad not much hiccups happen during the lunch.
The Next Actions shall starts when we start preparing for our Customary.
Yes, Finally collected our Wedding bands yesterdae at Fairy’s Inc. Im very satisfied with it, engraving and all. Evelyn knows i prefer thicker band so she increased the thickness and width slightly. YEAH!!! And as usual, when i ask Bin “nice anot??” he replied me “ok loh” what is new *rolls eye*
Anyway alot of people are asking me if im feeling the jitters now…surprisingly im still kinda cool with it…after the dress incident, im more like hoping faster to come and complete the whole ceremony without any more hiccups. ha ha but im sure i will be feeling excited the day before.
They are White Gold in both Glossy and Texturized Matt. Mine has 10 diamonds around and Bin has 1 diamond embedded on the inside. Texturized Matt might wear off over daily wear and tear so will have to go back to Fairy’s Inc for servicing come customary. (x1 free session).
Oh and thats the ring pillow Bin’s bro gave us but i find it too big so i think i will borrow from 40 her ring pillow instead.

Oh and Xiong treated us dinner at Holland V yesterdae…a BD treat for Bin. Its big thing ok….cos Its the first time the 4 of us (me, bin, xiong and xuan) went for dinner together. Very funny, they are brothers and yet its the first time we 2 couples go out. Actually i kinda like the feeling…we should do it more often…..
Counting down to 5 days….Hee Hee
Now really all things are settled. Collected the documents at ROM today at 930am (damn early), only took us like 10mins, go there song pa dats all.
Think now more and more couples are doing their solemnization outside ROM. Saw a lady her i-think-is-proposal-ring very bling loh! Think got 1 carat. Ha Ha Told bin i wan to upgrade my ring before our customary (cos my existing ring can trade in at the exact amount and top up to upgrade) and he say i wan to upgrade until how big oso can cos using my own $$. -_- wan to how diaoz??
Anyway, will be going to Fairy’s Inc to collect our wedding bands tomorrow. I got a problem though. How do i tie the rings to the ring pillow? Im thinking either to use the ring pillow or just place the rings on top of the wedding bears. shall see how. go back n practice tying on the pillow first…..
on a side note, my hair seems to be not eating the black…i see dark water whenever i washes my hair and i tot i see my hair in a little mahogany shade… hmm nvm lah if it doesnt stay black then oso bo bian…and oh, yesterdae facial at the ultimate was as usual heavenly. Wasnt my usual beautician but she was just as good if not better. Her extraction wasnt as pain as the previous sessions i had.

i think i haven been spotting black hair since i was 17 but because ROM mah, i was thinking 来点不一样的。And oso i have no idea wat color to dye liao…so BLACK loh. And also my hair has not been this long since 2002. Will continue grow long and right after my Wedding will snapped off cos i still think short hair suits me better and my darling prefers short-haired gals.
Anyway, i wanted to cut those ultra toot toot fringe but think better do it after ROM lah..so Erwin just dye, trim the shape abit and still snapped my fringe short. ha ha LPPL.

Caught Spiderman 3 with the colleagues last night after a very delicious dinner at Waraku. Think it was oso partly we were all starving but the Katsu Curry Don was good. A bit spicy and not too sweet just to my liking.
Ok as i was saying, the movie wasnt that bad. Maybe i heard so much negative comments that i actually tot the movie was decent. Harry Osborn was so cute can. I love it when he smile. awwwww~~~ he is currently my wallpaper..hee hee
Anyway i only have 2 grumbles. First and foremost, Spidey is like FAT can aiyo…..tot he is supposed to b swinging everywhere n the exercise should be enuff???
N the last grumble i totally cannot accept it.

Anyway, i mentioned we had dinner at Waraku right? I had exactly the same thing: Katsu Curry Don n ice cream the previous day with Jim and Caker at another Japanese Restaurant Azabu Sabo. Yes, i love Japanese food.
The food wasnt that fantastic but its the company that matters. I used to meet up with Jim regularly, like a few times a week?? but i think due to lots of factors, he shifted office, everyone is bz, he got himself a gf, etc we can only meet up together with caker maybe a few months once? So i treasure and appreciate when we just sit down, eat, tok abt 大闷锅 or any other unimportant stuffs. 
But next time when they shift to Yishun i think the frequency of meeting up can be increased. YEAH!
Noticed y Jim wasnt in the pictures? Cos he was sitting oppsite taking photos of us ha ha. Oh Thanks Guys for the belated dinner treat!!!

Last entry (which is only yesterdae) i just posted that everything is ready for my ROM then at night REALLY something crops up!!!!
I was supposed to alter my dress tighter back at Empire where i got my dress mah. Then 40 intro me her tailor which she saes is very good. Apparently she n kel and their colleagues all go to the tailor and were full of praises and on top of that its cheaper, so i tot ok loh n went to her on Tue.
SIKALI, she practically screwed my dress. She adviced that altering the front of the dress is better than just the side to make it tighter but after the alteration, the whole cut is off and it was still loose so she had to alter the side to tighten it but it turns out to b too tight!
Im was just speechless! Less than 11 daes left!! How? My mum still scolded me loh, willing to spend so much on a dress yet scrimp on the alteration and got myself into this mess.
Solution: My sister offered to bring me to her tailor so i took half dae leave todae to salvage the problem but the auntie took 1 look and said she could try to salvage the situation but the stiches marks would b very visible and she couldnt 100% guarantee it would b as perfect and best part? Can only be ready next week!!
How can? wait cannot i no need to get married liao loh.
Really can cry can~ Called bin n he told me not to take risk. Asked me to go back Empire and get back the same dress. So i soot all the way from FEP to Empire only to find out that they do not have my dress in pink anymore. ARGG!!!
I tried on other designs in pink but no nice loh…so i just got back the same design but in ivory color.
Another problem arises, my accessories, flowers and bin’s clothes were matching with my pink so i had to do something to my dress. The guy suggested not to sew the ribbon on the dress and provides me with 2 diff ribbons, pink and white so that i can match accordingly. That is good oso cos next time i can pair with diff colors of ribbons for diff looks. i think gold would look very nice on ivory.
Anyway, with the pink ribbon, at least my accessories and bin’s clothes can match. Just got to change my white flowers to pink else everything will be too pale.
Oh and i still got to alter the dress smaller to fit me loh but this time i will do it in Empire.
Total extra damage: $239. Damn heart pain. N with my mouth, i really dun dare to sae anything now.
Ok, im done with all the final preparations. Unless anything pops up aong the way. *cross fingers*
