Just finished watching 五月天 1st concert DVD in Taiwan. The one in 1999. Exactly 10 years ago.
Rock Label released the concert DVD and me being 五月天 fan just have to buy it although im super broke.
10 years already…五月天 oso changed alot. They were so so fresh and 嫩 back then…the way they move around the stage, their “talking” and presentation. But dunno y, super funny but watch liao super emo haha.
10 years liao leh, i have liked them for 10 years. 1st heard their song was when was still in poly. Kaoz…freaking long ago…..
I’m really beginning to feel that i dun have a life….im practically just working and watching TV. Dats all.
To be fair, work is busy but not til the extent that i cannot take it. I blame it on my age. I think no longer is the time i can cheong work and still feel fresh. 1 day of very late night sleep or any mentally-drained activity will leave me really shagged out for at least 2 days. Ha ha
Sorta apologetic to The ANG though, he has been jaga-ing the reno and although there are times when i have promised i will take leave and attend the meetups with the ID, i alwaes fly aeroplane at the very last min. Bo bian leh, meetings for some projects are die die i have to attend.
Now, im joking with my colleagues that i really got to spare time for him else sooner or later he will divorce me…..and it doesnt help cos i dun work on weekends but he does…..
So the next best thing is my laptop and tv….told you im a couch potato liao mah….haha
Im learning Japanese now…from Aiko….Actually, im not doing it the correct way lah. We started this “word of the day” in office. Everyday Aiko will teach me 1 japanese word and i will teach her 1 chinese/hokkien word.
We just started this week and these are the words i have learnt.

Went to the PC show this afternoon. Objective is to buy a TV for the office and for my new house.
After walking for almost 3 hours, i bought 3 TVs. And i almost almost bought the Samsung LED TV on impulse.
We were deciding between a Series 6 LCD TV 40″ that comes with a 26″ LCD TV and $200 Robinson voucher vs the LED TV that comes with a 32″ LCD TV and $300 Robinson voucher.
The specs for LED and the Series 6 are similar, just that the LED TV is slimer and energy saving. It is really very slim….LED Series 7 40″ original price was high 4k and it was selling for $3,699 at the show and it comes with a 32″ LCD TV plus a $300 Robinson voucher.
The ANG doesnt like the 32″ so we can deduct $500 off which is $3,199. Then he saw another 32″ LCD TV that is going for $799 + $100 Robinson voucher.
Seems a good deal isn’t it? $3,699 – $500 + $799 = $3,998 ($400 vouchers)
Then paying by installments only $166 whereas if i buy the Series 6 $2,499 – $400 (for not taking the free 26″) + $799 = $2,898 ($300 vouchers) installment around $120.
We already decided on the LED and the sales person was writing the invoice…then i realised although the installment value per month is not a significant difference but the actual amount is!!!
I can save $1,100 leh…i can buy alot more things with the $$ and so….i asked the sales person to change it to the series 6.
Ha ha afterwards, both The ANG and I were like…wah heng ah….nv buy the LED TV.
Im currently watching this Japanese Drama “Mr Brain”. The lead actor is my ever fav Takuya Kimura. He usually act 1 show per year and this show is the latest in 2009, just started airing in May.
In this light-hearted drama, Kimura plays the role of Ryusuke Tsukumo, a gigolo who suffers a freak brain injury and becomes a crime-solving genius. He is neuroscientist working for the National Research Institute of Police Science (part of the National Police Agency). He is generally incapable of reading the atmosphere of a situation, but when it comes to science, he is well respected. Whenever something catches his interest, he thoroughly sticks to it and never gives up, chasing down the criminals with certainty.
Another highlight of the drama will be the featuring of a new guest star appearance in every episode. The first episode featured Ryoko Hirosue from the Oscar-winning film ‘Departures’. Subsequent episodes will see the likes of popular artistes Sato Takeru and Kazuya Kamenashi.
I have been busy…..work is piling up yet again…..i have 4 deadlines to meet just alone in June and AFA09 is taking place in Nov……expecting workload to increase….
I really a bit stressed that i will not have time to get married loh…or rather not have ample time for preparations.
I can only start my preparations around in July/ August to get the invitations printed, buy the items for GDL/AC then September to give out invites, bring my parents to tailor made their clothes, etc etc…..i think really is test my limits liao…..to see how i cope my stress hahaha
I better pre amp The ANG….to help in the preparations (although we have agreed reno is he in charge wedding is me) and to tolerate my temper….i tend to get really edgy and short tempered when im stress.
1 good thing is that reno is completed…should be able to handover this Friday. I have to start packing my room bit by bit and slowly shift my stuffs over…..
Im getting super lazy to blog…..especially since i can update on FB n twitter now….hahaha
But will still try to keep the blog alive.
Anyway, after like 50 days, my renovations are finally done…almost lah….all items are installed. Now left the general cleaning and we have to check for any defects and if any, got to ask Andrew to change.
Other than that, its good.
My furniture will be delivered on 20th June and i cant wait to see all the furnitures in. Super excited although the process is frustrating…. gotta give a very big “thank you” to my bro-in-law, mr bear.
The ANG and i basically are busy with work and usually he will look out for us the renovations and advice The ANG. Lucky they are knowledgeable in this trade….i basically just need to go n say nice or not nice nia….hahaha
Tml is Bak Zhang Day and i have already eaten Bak Zhang made by my mother in law..Yummy!!! And today i went up bestie house to eat again. Bestie mummy can really cook.
Me and Ping alwaes like going up to eat hahaha…..i especially like her soups…all kinds of soups….
Today is porridge and Hey Bee Hiam Bak Zhang….Nice can!!!!
Was invited by Indoor Stadium to attend the Aaron Kwok concert this coming Sat. Envy me people!!! Ha Ha and the seats are pretty decent. Retailing at $188 and we gotten 4 tickets!!!!
Looking forward to seeing his dance in the Guinness World of Record Stage for the largest revolving indoor stage. Hope he sings more oldies as i nv really follow his newer songs.

And last sunday, bestie accompanied me to Hougang Mall to q for the Mayday concert tickets in August.
We already pre-ordered the tickets a couple of months back and now its to go choose the seats. The choosing starts at 12pm and we were there around 1045am and there was already a queue. Luckily i think we were 1 of the first 50.
Still we waited for almost 3 hours before selecting the seats. I was pretty disappointed….did not get the area i wanted. Not so bad oso lah but i want to be nearer Monster mah…hahahaha
Super looking forward to it.
I wanted to get A15 but when its our turn no more seats… the next best seats will be A13.
Oh Oh…i met KH today after work for a fast drink. He was at Old School for some meeting and i got the 白い恋人 from him!!! Yipee!
I was waiting for Jim to pick me up yesterday and was just looking at the progress of the new NBSS. Very fast, i think the piling and construction is almost done til teh 3rd level but i still misses the old NBSS.
Its so freaking quiet now without the students loitering after school, even the mama shop is closed down.
I was randomly reading online when i come across a topic saying there is actually 13 horoscope now instead of the usual 12 that we know of.
I googled about it and the results showed that there is a 13th constellation call the Ophiuchus (serpent bearer). The sun apparently crossed this constellation path between the November 30th and December 18th. Astrologically speaking, if you were born between those dates you’re no longer a Sagittarian, you’re an Ophiuchi!
WTF, i read on further and i realized im no longer a Taurus but an Aries!! I dunwan to be an Aries. I have been a Taurus all my life and i do feel that i have traits of a Taurus, have no intention to be changed thank you very much.
Based on the study, modern astrology has changed. Now the path where dunno wat sun axis and earth axis has changed and now the sun path cuts across 13 stars instead of 12.
Anyway, i will still continue to see myself as a Taurus.
Caught the movie over the weekend. Nice show. Im glad i totally forgot the story although i read the book. There was no comparisons with the book and i was stunned with the twist.
I tot i prefer Angels and Demons more than Da Vinci Code when i read the book but after watching the movie, i think Da Vinci is better.
Am a sucker for these kinda show.
Been really busy recently, with work and the house reno. Really glad that the house is starting to form and im pretty happy with the outcome (although the process abit painful as the workmanship is not as good as i expected)

The ANG has been wanting to watch the movie but timing always buay gum….now that the movie seems to be coming off the screens soon, we quickly book the tickets and just went ahead….
We usually catch our movies at Yishun 10 but “Taken” is no longer showing there and the only available cinema is Cineleisure Orchard. Super sian can so far…it better be good cos it has been a while since i drove to town and i was feeling abit jittery hahaha (i still preferred to be chauffeured)
Anyway, it is a SUPER NICE show. Liam Neeson did a great job!!! He has got this very 慈祥 face but the things he do just to save his daughter, super sut not to mention clever.
I think i should get my sister to watch…so she will appreciate n understand when my parents sometimes nag her about going out, hahaha
